Bromic Heaters Affinity Smart-Heat® On/Off Controllers
The On/Off series allows for connected Platinum or Tungsten Collection gas or electric Bromic heaters to be turned on or off at full power capacity – providing straight forward function and usage of your outdoor heater. This series includes options for 1, 2, and 5 channel inputs. Each channel input can control up to 6000W of power or 10 gas heaters. Using the enabled Wi-Fi (compatible with 2.4GHz) or Bluetooth connectivity, control and customize your comfort via the Bromic Heating App.
3-Phase 5 Channel model is complete with an included expansion board allowing for seamless ethernet integration for a full-proof connection to your outdoor heaters or 0-10V control for Home or Business Automation integration.

What products can be used with the Affinity On/Off control series?
The Affinity On/Off Controls can be used with all Bromic Heating Appliances including Platinum, Tungsten and Cobalt Electric, as well as Gas Heater models.
How many outdoor heaters can I control with this controller?
Single Channel Controls are rated for 6kW maximum, Dual Channel controls are rated for 12kW maximum. Both Single and Dual Channel options can control multiple outdoor heaters within their maximum capacity. Each channel can control up to 10 gas heaters.
- A Single 6 kW On/Off Control is compatible with 2 Platinum 2300W Electric Heaters.
- A Dual 12 kW OnOff Control is compatible with 2 Tungsten 6000W Electric Heaters.
- A Single 6 kW On/Off Control is compatible with up to 10 Gas Heaters.
Can I control elements individually with the Affinity On/Off control series?
Yes, when using the 12kW Dual Channel On/Off Control, users can control the dual elements of these heating appliances individually:
- Platinum 4500W
- Tungsten 4000W, 6000W
Do these controllers have a timer function?
The Bromic App includes both timer and scheduling function.
The 5 Channel controllers require a key to open. Where do I buy one?
The key is supplied with the controller, packed inside the enclosure in a plastic bag. The key type is bi-locker and is available from all general electrical supply stores.
I would like to switch the heating appliances off after a time period?
This function is available in different settings. Firstly, when you turn on a heating appliance, you can also set a timer off interval. You set this each time the heating appliance is turned on and it will then count down to the interval duration and automatically switch the appliance off. Set this function by clicking the appliance name to go to the detailed screen and setting the timer off interval at the bottom of the screen.
Alternatively, you can set the timer off delay using schedules. This feature is only available to Wi-Fi connected appliances.
Where do I find the serial number of the controller?
The serial number is represented as a 14 digit code (eg CONF2C23080005). The digits will be different for each type of controller. The serial number is printed on the product label attached to the controller. It can also be located via the menu on the Bromic Smart-Heat App, under Site configuration -> Edit Site.
All the controllers will be listed and within each controller setting you can identify the connected outdoor heaters.

Freight Claims Policy
Please follow these very important steps when it comes to Freight Items that are damaged or missing
- Open and inspect the order while the delivery driver is present. If delivery driver does not provide sufficient time to do so, please notate the delivery receipt.
- By signing the delivery receipt without noting any damage or missing items, you confirm that your order arrived complete and in excellent condition.
- Record any damage or missing pieces directly on the delivery receipt.
- Do not discard damaged item(s) or any original packaging. For severe damage, write “Refused due to damage” on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately.
- Report any damage within two business days, including delivery details and photos showing the issue
- Damaged item(s) must be returned within 30 days. Failure to return them will result in a charge to the original payment method.

- Submit your return request within 30 days of delivery.
- You will receive an email within 1-2 business days confirming whether your return request has been approved or denied.
- Please also note that a 20% restocking fee may apply to approved returns
- If approved, you will receive an itemized Return Authorization, return shipping labels (if requested), and detailed instructions within 1–2 business days
- From the date this email is received, you will have 14 days to return the product.
- Once AF Distributors receives and inspects the returned item(s), your refund will be issued within 1–2 weeks
- Items returned outside of this process or time frame are not eligible for a refund.
