If you want a gas grill with a side burner in one place, you’re in the right place. Our nine options are complete outdoor kitchen islands or equipment sets, all from Videl and made in the USA. Choose an island with the cooking equipment already built in, or a set for an island you finish yourself. Each pairs a grill with a double side burner. Separate controls let you sear in one pan while sauces simmer in the other.

How to choose a gas grill with a side burner

Start with your available room and how much counter space, cooking space and storage you want. Complete islands range from 72 to 144 inches wide, with four- or five-burner grills, double side burners, doors and drawers. Larger islands add a fridge, sink and 30-inch griddle. The islands are powder-coated in a choice of colors.

For a BBQ island you finish yourself, choose a full kit with cooking equipment and knock-down frames, then add cement board and your chosen finish. The equipment-only sets include the grill, double side burner, griddle, doors and drawers for an island or masonry you already have.

If you want a propane grill with side burner, select propane when ordering; natural gas is also an option. Only need the grill head? Browse our built-in grills. To compare complete islands with or without side burners, see our full BBQ island range.

Questions we hear most

Is a side burner on a grill worth it?

Yes, if you cook sides, sauces or a pot of corn while the grill is busy. It's less useful if you do everything else indoors. The islands here have a double side burner, so you can use two pans at once.

What is a side burner used for?

You can make sauces, heat beans, boil corn or pasta, sauté vegetables or keep a pot warm. Its heat control is separate from the grill, so you can stay outside while you cook the whole meal.

Can I add a side burner to an island I already have?

Yes, stand-alone side burners drop into an island cut-out. If you also need a gas grill with a side burner, the equipment-only sets on this page fit an island you already have.
