You’re in the right place to choose a natural gas grill for your home gas line. All grills here can be ordered for natural gas, from grill heads and cart models to complete outdoor kitchen islands. Start with the space you have, then compare the cooking features you’ll use.

Choose natural gas when ordering. These grills are built for one fuel, rather than for switching to another fuel later.

How to choose your natural gas grill

Choose where your natural gas outdoor grill will live first. A built-in grill fits into an outdoor kitchen island, while a freestanding grill comes on a matching cart. For a pool deck or shared space, consider post-mounted grills that bolt to a patio or set into concrete.

Grill heads range from 24 to 54 inches wide, with most measuring 30, 36 or 42 inches. Complete islands measure 72 to 112 inches and include the grill and storage, sometimes with a fridge or sink.

Match your natural gas bbq grill to how you cook. Compare two to five main burners, sear and rotisserie options, and extras such as a side burner or griddle plate. Check the ignition system and whether cooking lights are included. For a dedicated flat-top, browse our 15 natural gas griddles. If your setup needs a tank instead, choose a propane grill when ordering.

Questions we hear most

Can I convert a propane grill to natural gas?

The grills here are built for the fuel you choose when ordering, so select natural gas up front rather than planning a conversion later. If you’re unsure what your yard needs, call us and we will talk it through.

What do I need to hook up a natural gas grill?

You need a gas line run to the grill spot with a shut-off valve, installed by a licensed gas fitter. Order the grill in its natural gas version. Once connected, there’s no tank to refill or swap.

Do natural gas grills cook as well as propane grills?

Yes. The burners and heat are the same; only the gas source differs. Natural gas suits a grill that stays in one place, and you won’t have a tank run empty in the middle of cooking.
