Bromic Cobalt Electric 4000W: Bromic’s lowest priced mounted heater
The Bromic Cobalt Electric 4000W is an electric heater for covered patios. Its silver stainless steel body holds quartz heating elements. It mounts on a wall or ceiling, with an adjustable bracket that aims warmth at your seating. Keep it under a roof or cover, out of direct rain. Radiant heat warms people and surfaces directly, like sunshine, instead of warming the air, so it works outdoors. It is hard wired to a 208 or 240 volt circuit like an electric dryer, so an electrician installs it. Bromic Heating is based in Sydney, Australia, and runs its North American business from Irvine, California.
It delivers 4,000 watts and warms up to 130 square feet. Cobalt is Bromic’s lowest priced mounted heater. Choose 208 or 240 volts on the page. The heater has no switch of its own, so you pick a manual wall switch or a Bromic Affinity controller on the page. Both cost extra. The warranty is one year, with seven years on the heating elements. FAQ
How much area does the Cobalt 4000W heat?
The 4000W model is rated to warm outdoor areas up to 130 ft². Its adjustable wall or ceiling bracket lets you aim the radiant heat at a specific seating or lounge area, so coverage is directional rather than all-around. If you need more reach, the same heater is offered in a 6000W version rated up to 160 ft².
Does this heater plug into a standard outlet?
No. It runs on 220-240V (16.6A) or 208V (18.75A) rather than a standard household outlet, and Bromic requires installation by a licensed technician in accordance with local electrical codes. Select the voltage that matches your building’s supply from the Voltage option on this page when ordering — your electrician can confirm which one you have.
Can I dim the heat output?
Yes — pair it with the Affinity Dimmer Controller, offered in the Controls option on this page, to adjust heat output rather than just switching on and off. An Affinity On/Off Controller and indoor/outdoor manual wall switches are also available in the same option if simple switching is all you need.
Is it better to mount it on a wall or the ceiling?
Both are supported — the adjustable bracket system installs on a wall or ceiling and pivots to direct heat where you need it. Observe the minimum floor clearances: 6 feet to the bottom of the heater when wall-mounted and 8 feet when ceiling-mounted, with full clearance requirements in the instruction manual linked in the Installation tab.
Can this heater stay outside in the rain?
It carries an IPX4 water-ingress rating and is built from 304-grade stainless steel, so it is weather-resistant rather than waterproof. It will handle splashes and damp conditions, but mounting it under a roof or cover — out of direct rain and snow — is the best way to preserve its finish and longevity.
What warranty comes with it?
Bromic covers the Cobalt Electric with a 1-year parts warranty, extended to 7 years on the quartz heating elements themselves. We are an authorized Bromic dealer, so the full manufacturer warranty is included with your purchase.
Do electric patio heaters use a lot of electricity?
This model draws 4 kW at full output, so an hour of use consumes 4 kWh of electricity — multiply by your local rate for the running cost. Because the heat is radiant and directional, you can point it exactly where people sit instead of warming a whole space. Compare wattages across our electric patio heaters to size your setup.

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
