Bromic Tungsten Gas 500 Series: gas heat for up to 215 square feet
The Bromic Tungsten Gas 500 Series is a mounted gas heater for a large patio. It needs fresh air, so it belongs on an open or partly open patio, not in an enclosed room. The matte black stainless steel body has a honeycomb mesh face. The burner glows red behind it. It mounts on a wall or hangs from the ceiling, leaving floor space clear. A licensed gas fitter installs it with a gas line and an electrical connection. Bromic Heating is based in Sydney, Australia, and runs its North American business from Irvine, California.
Its 43,000 BTUs warm up to 215 square feet, the most heat of any mounted Bromic heater. Radiant heat warms people and surfaces directly, like sunshine, instead of warming the air, so it works outdoors. Tungsten is the lower priced mounted gas line next to Platinum Gas. Mounting Options
The heater can be wall mounted or hung from the ceiling (with optional Ceiling Post Mount). The optimum height is 8 feet from the floor to the bottom of the heater. If the distance above the heater is less than 42 inches or if the heater will be open to the elements, a heat deflector is recommended.

How powerful is the Tungsten 500?
It delivers 43,000 BTU of radiant heat and is rated to cover up to 215 ft² — the larger of the two Tungsten Gas sizes. The honeycomb mesh screen spreads that output for a superior spread of heat, and the pivot arm bracket angles it down onto the area you want warmed.
Should I choose the 300 or the 500 Series?
Size it to your space: the 300 Series produces 26,000 BTU and covers up to 160 ft², while this 500 Series produces 43,000 BTU for up to 215 ft². For a large patio or commercial seating area, the 500’s extra output means fewer heaters doing more work. Both share the same mounting and control options.
Is it available for natural gas?
Yes — the 500 Series comes in a natural-gas version (BH0210003-1) and a propane version (BH0210004-1), both rated at 43,000 BTU. Choose your fuel from the Fuel Type option on this page, or compare other gas patio heaters if you are still deciding on a model.
How is it mounted?
Wall or ceiling. It wall-mounts directly, or hangs from the ceiling with the optional Ceiling Post Mount — gas mounting poles in six lengths are offered in the Accessories option on this page. The optimum installation height is 8 feet from the floor to the bottom of the heater.
How close can it be to the ceiling?
If there is less than 42 inches between the heater and the surface above it, Bromic recommends the 500 Series Heat Deflector — available in the Accessories option on this page — to protect the mounting surface; it also improves weather resistance and directs the heat output. Minimum floor clearance is 96 inches, and your licensed installer should confirm all clearances against the instruction manual.
Does it have safety features?
Yes — an integrated Flame Failure Safety Shut-off turns the heater off immediately should it fail to re-ignite, and the patented direct ignition system means there is no standing pilot light to tend. Installation must be carried out by a licensed technician in accordance with local building codes.
How do I turn it on and off?
Through either the Affinity On/Off Controller or an indoor/outdoor manual wall switch, both available in the Controls option on this page. The heater is also smart-system compatible with automated re-ignition, so it can be tied into home or building automation and largely manage itself once set up.

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. Sizing and heating need to be figured out, as does the building, but we have always had a helpful partner on our side. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
