Soft walls: the Comfort Tekapo and the Urban Aurora

The Comfort Tekapo is a square bubble spa, 73 by 73 inches, with 132 floor jets. To inflate this MSpa inflatable hot tub, connect its inflation hose to the built-in control box and press the bubble button. An ultraviolet light treats the water, and the Tekapo's own page explains this hose-inflated choice.

The Urban Aurora is round and 80 inches wide, with 138 air jets. Press Bubble and Up together and it inflates itself, checks pressure and stops when full. MSpa gives a heating rate of roughly 2 to 4 degrees Fahrenheit an hour, depending on the tub and water and air temperatures. Keep the cover on while heating, with its inflatable insert helping retain warmth between soaks. The Aurora, the Verto Cocoon and the three Frame tubs have an anti-icing system that warms water near freezing while plugged in.

Filters and a chemical dispenser come with the tubs. The Tekapo has an ultraviolet light, the Aurora has an ultraviolet chamber and an ozone generator, and the Frame tubs and the Verto Cocoon have an antibacterial fabric liner. The air jets massage system has adjustable bubble strength on the Aurora and the three Frame tubs.
