Bromic Platinum Gas heaters can be wall-mounted or hung from the ceiling (with optional Bromic Ceiling Pole Mounts). The optimum height is 8 feet from the floor to the bottom of the heater. If the distance above the heater is less than 42 inches or if the heater will be open to the elements, we advise to use a Bromic Heat Deflector.

What is supplied with the outdoor-mounted gas heating appliances?
All our Smart-Heat gas heating appliances come with wall-mount brackets. Ceiling poles, deflectors, and controllers can be purchased as additional accessories.
Can I install the built-in heater myself?
No, our Bromic Smart-Heat gas built-in heaters need to be installed by a licensed technician.
Do outdoor gas heaters require an electrical supply?
Yes, these outdoor heaters have an electric ignition, which requires an electrical supply.
How can I control the outdoor heating appliance?
We recommend adding the Bromic On/Off controller and wireless remote, so the outdoor heating appliance can be turned off and on from the comfort of your home. Alternatively, the heating appliance can also be controlled via a standard wall switch.
Can I adjust the heat output on the outdoor gas heaters?
Our outdoor gas heaters are on/off only. If you’re looking for a dimmable option, then we would recommend our Bromic electric outdoor heaters, which allow for more precise control over the heat output.
Is the heating appliance supplied with a heat deflector?
No. Heat deflectors can be purchased as an additional accessory.
Does the built-in outdoor heater come with a cover?
No, covers are not offered for built-in installed heaters, as these present a fire hazard. There is a risk the outdoor heater could be accidentally switched on while the cover is in place.
Can this outdoor heating appliance be connected to a smart home or building automation system?
Yes, the outdoor heating appliance can be connected to smart home and building technology, provided the system has been fitted with an RS232 port. For this, our On/Off Controller and our Bromic Smart-Heat Link RS232 plugin are required.
How many Platinum Gas built-in heaters do I need?

Constructed from 304-grade stainless steel with a fully sealed heater body to protect internal elements, this outdoor ceramic heating appliance is IP certified for outdoor use, making it durable and reliable, even in various weather conditions. It is important to install these built-in heaters under coverings to protect from the elements and conduct regular maintenance for longevity of use.
Can I leave Platinum Gas heating appliances on all night?
While the Bromic Platinum Collection of heating appliances, including their Platinum Gas built-in ceramic heater for outside, are designed for extended outdoor use, it is generally not recommended to leave any outdoor heater on overnight for safety and energy-efficiency reasons. We recommend turning off the Platinum Gas heating appliances, including the ceramic heater for outside, when not in use, and following the installation manuals for safe operation and maintenance. If you require extended heating, consider using a timer or one of the Bromic control options to regulate the heating appliance’s operation based on your specific outdoor heating requirements
What are the clearance requirements for Platinum Gas built-in heaters?
Consult the product installation manuals for specific clearance requirements, as these guidelines are crucial for safe and efficient operation. Generally, proper clearances are necessary to prevent hazards, ensure safety, and maintain the longevity of the heaters.

- By signing the delivery receipt without noting any damage or missing items, you confirm that your order arrived complete and in excellent condition.
- Record any damage or missing pieces directly on the delivery receipt.
- Do not discard damaged item(s) or any original packaging. For severe damage, write “Refused due to damage” on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately.
- Report any damage within two business days, including delivery details and photos showing the issue
- Damaged item(s) must be returned within 30 days. Failure to return them will result in a charge to the original payment method.
