How is the Modern Flames Orion different from other electric fireplaces?

Orion shows a high definition video of real flames on a screen, so the view stays the same sitting or standing. Lit driftwood logs and glass sit in front. A USB stick can load taller flames. You need no chimney or gas line, and heat is optional.

Should I buy the Orion or the Orion V2?

Both have the same three kinds and sizes. V2 adds a screen with deeper blacks, brighter flames, new flame styles through the app, speakers for crackling sounds or Bluetooth music, and a covered patio rating. Orion is indoor only, without those additions. Call us and we will talk it through.

Do Modern Flames Orion fireplaces need venting?

No. These electric fireplaces need no vent, chimney or gas line. They plug into a wall outlet on its own circuit. The Traditional can go into a closed-up wood fireplace, while the Slim fits an ordinary 2 by 6 wall.
