A The Outdoor Plus planter lets you carry a familiar bowl shape from flame and water into greenery. Choose a shallow bowl for grasses and seasonal color, or a deeper vessel for a small tree. Concrete, copper and steel give you different looks for a patio, pool deck or entryway. Each piece is made in the USA and arrives ready to fill and plant. Start with the shape you want, then consider the soil your planting needs.

The Outdoor Plus planter in familiar fire bowl shapes

Matching shapes and finishes let you alternate greenery with fire bowls and water bowls. For a pool wall, matching planter and water bowls add a spillway.

Eight bowl shapes

Our planter bowls include a shallow tapered round, a ribbed round, a deep half-sphere, a fluted urn and a shallow cone. Two tapered square forms and a round copper bowl complete the choices. The bowls run 24 to 48 inches across and 9 to 16 inches tall. The shallow tapered rounds measure 27 or 33 inches across, and the squares measure 24, 30 or 36 inches. The urn comes in 24 or 36 inches, and the copper round measures 31 inches across. The half-sphere spans 30 or 38 inches. Compare versions in the round bowl series and the square bowl series. You’ll find the ribbed round in the Sedona 2 series and the deep half-sphere in the Luna series. You’ll find the fluted urn on a pedestal foot in the Roma series and the hand-hammered copper round in the Remi series. You’ll find the shallow cone in the Cazo series.

Concrete, wood grain, copper or steel

Our concrete planters include glass-fiber concrete in 18 colors and wood grain in ebony, ivory or oak. Among metal planters, choose 15 powder coat colors, brushed stainless steel or hammered copper that develops a blue-green patina. Slight color and texture variations reflect handmade character.

Corten for beds and trees

Three corten steel planters develop a rust-colored skin and never need paint. Choose a round tapered vessel, a low straight-sided box for borders and raised beds, or a curved, tapered box. The round tapered planter comes with a 30 or 46 inch top in a 20 or 30 inch height. The boxes run 20 to 60 inches. The largest round holds 20 cubic feet of soil for a tree.

FAQ

Will a The Outdoor Plus planter match my fire bowl?

Yes. The bowl shapes have matching fire and water versions in the same sizes and finishes. You can line up greenery with a flame across pool steps. The series pages show those versions together for comparison.

What can I plant in these planters?

Shallow bowls suit succulents, grasses, herbs, ivy and seasonal flowers. Deeper half-sphere, urn, copper and Corten options hold enough soil for a palm or small tree. Check the soil volume and plan the bowl as one display.

Do The Outdoor Plus planters have drainage holes?

The product pages do not list a drain. Ask us about drainage for your chosen piece and location before ordering. Use gravel at the bottom and loose, free-draining potting mix. A planter on paving may need a drain.
