The head, the base and your post

A complete set includes the head and base, not the post. The Original base bolts to a 2.5 inch post and includes a needle valve. TOP-Lite threads onto a half-inch gas pipe without a valve. Heads sold on their own stand 18 inches tall and include the Original base. Choose fins or a cone shade in brushed copper or powder coat. The wall mounted option hangs on a bracket. How do you light a gas fire torch?

Standard torches are match lit with a long lighter. Open the gas valve and hold a long lighter to the head. The Original base has a needle valve to adjust the flame and shut it off. The wall mounted version uses a push button.

Do fire torches give off heat or just light?

They give mostly light and ambiance, with some warmth when you stand close. The flame marks a path, pool edge or gate after dark. A torch is not a heater. Choose a gas fire pit for warmth to sit around.
