Outdoor rated means sealed electronics and a compressor made for patio heat and cold, unlike an indoor fridge. The 15 inch glass door fridge holds about 89 cans and has a lock. The 22 inch compact refrigerator holds about 156 cans on four wire shelves and has a reversible door, with 4.3 cubic feet of space compared with 5 in the 24 inch fridges. The 24 inch one holds about 161 cans behind a stainless steel door or tinted glass, while the two drawer version holds about 141 cans without swinging into the walkway. Wine coolers and ice chests

Do you need a special fridge for an outdoor kitchen?
Yes, choose an outdoor rated fridge with sealed electronics and a compressor made for patio heat and cold. An indoor fridge is not made for those conditions. The 22 inch models are approved for indoor or outdoor use, and every fridge needs an outlet in the island.
What is the difference between a Summerset refrigerator and a Summerset wine cooler?
The fridges hold cans and sides at 32 to 50 degrees. The wine coolers hold bottles at 41 to 64 degrees on adjustable racks that pull out behind tinted glass, without vibration disturbing sediment. Single zone holds one temperature, while dual zone separates whites above from reds below.
Can the door on a Summerset outdoor refrigerator be switched to open the other way?
The 22 inch and 24 inch fridges let you position the door hinge on the left or right. The two drawer version has no door swinging into a tight walkway. Check your walking space before choosing a Summerset outdoor refrigerator.
