The wall-mounted heater measures 16 inches wide, 11 inches deep and 24 inches tall, and weighs 40 pounds empty. Stones sit in a mesh cage directly on the heating elements. Three sizes, with B or W controls

The 4.5 kW KIP45B and KIP45W suit 100 to 210 cubic feet, a one or two person room. The Harvia KIP 6kW models, the KIP60B and KIP60W, cover 170 to 300 cubic feet for most two to four person home saunas. The Harvia KIP 8kW models, the KIP80B and KIP80W, cover 250 to 425 cubic feet for a family sized room.

Each B model has built-in controls: two knobs at its base for the temperature and a 60 minute timer. Its delayed start runs up to 8 hours ahead. The light gray W models have no knobs and use a separate control unit, a Harvia Xenio wall control, outside the sauna, added on the page. What comes in the box

What size Harvia KIP do I need for my sauna?

Multiply your room’s length, width and height in feet to get cubic feet. Choose 4.5 kW for 100 to 210 cubic feet, 6 kW for 170 to 300, or 8 kW for 250 to 425. All share a case measuring 16 by 11 by 24 inches. Call us for help.

KIP B or KIP W: knobs on the heater or a wall control?
