This page holds the MSpa Comfort Tekapo, a square, six person bubble tub that inflates through its own hose. This 6 person inflatable hot tub has soft walls and plugs into a standard outdoor outlet. It comes with an insulated cover and filters. It belongs to the MSpa Comfort Series, with bubbles from the floor for your soak.

A square tub for six

This square hot tub is the plainest MSpa, with a metallic blue interior and charcoal gray exterior. It measures 73 by 73 inches, stands 27 inches tall and holds 245 gallons. For quick inflation, connect its hose to the built-in control box inside the tub and press the bubble button. Compare it within the full MSpa range or browse our inflatable hot tubs. It is the tub to pick if you want to relax in warm water with the least setup.

Bubbles, heat and water care

In the air jets massage system, 132 openings in the floor push thousands of bubbles up from the bottom of the spa around every seat, so everyone in the tub feels them at once. There are no hydromassage jets, which is what keeps this tub simple. Its heater keeps the spa water at the temperature you set, up to 104 degrees, so you can choose the water temperature, and an ultraviolet light sanitizes the water. The box contains filters, a chemical dispenser, an insulated cover, the inflation hose, a garden hose adapter and a wrench. Keep the cover on while heating and between soaks. This portable spa plugs into a standard outdoor outlet, like the other portable and plug-and-play tubs.

How the other MSpa tubs compare

Compared with the other MSpa hot tubs, the Tekapo gives you bubbles without lights or water jets. The round Urban Aurora inflates itself and has an LED light strip. The rigid-walled Frame tubs include the bubble-only Mono and the Oslo and Denver, which also have wall water jets.

Your questions answered

How do I set up the MSpa Tekapo?

On a flat, solid surface, connect the included hose to the control box inside the tub and press the bubble button. No separate pump is needed. Fill using a garden hose and included adapter, allowing about an hour. Plug into a standard outdoor outlet. Cover it and let the heater work.

Does the Tekapo have water jets?

No, the Tekapo has no water jets. Its 132 air jets in the floor push bubbles up around all six seats. The Frame Oslo and Frame Denver also have wall water jets that push water against your back.

Will the Tekapo reach 104 degrees in winter?

104 degrees is the heater’s top setting. The maker gives roughly 2 to 4 degrees of heating an hour, depending on water and air temperatures. Cold air means a longer wait. Keep the insulated cover on and shelter the MSpa Tekapo from wind.
