Two kinds of Modern Flames wall kit

The Modern Flames Allwood media walls fit the 60 inch Spectrum Slimline wall mount linear electric fireplace or Orion Slim. They are about 6 feet wide, or about 10 feet with both optional shelf towers. Each tower has four adjustable shelves. You get a feature wall with no construction.

The Modern Flames Studio Suites wood cabinets wrap a wall mounted Orion Multi in 52, 60 or 76 inches, or a Landscape Pro Multi. Each looks built in, with a mantel shelf on top.

Finishes and what comes in the box

Both lines offer Coastal Sand, Driftwood Grey and Weathered Walnut finishes. Studio Suites also offers Ready to Finish, a white primer for your own paint. Pick the size and finish on the kit page.

Allwood includes wall panels and frames, a mantel, mounting strips, screw covers and hardware. Studio Suites includes top and bottom cabinet pieces, brackets, a power cord and hardware. The Landscape Pro version also includes matching side pieces and a fireplace-sized wall bracket.

Do I need a contractor to put up a Modern Flames wall kit?

Most people use an installer for Allwood. For Allwood installation, mounting strips fasten to wall studs, and a TV needs a panel cutout. Studio Suites pieces slide onto brackets and hold by friction, with no screws or glue to hide. The fireplace still needs an outlet or hardwiring.

Can I put a TV above a Modern Flames wall kit?

Yes. The Allwood top panel comes solid, and your installer cuts the opening for a TV above the fire. With Studio Suites, the TV goes on the wall above the mantel shelf. Every Modern Flames fireplace is electric, so no chimney or vent is in the way.
