Fire Magic electric grills here include the E251, the 30 inch EL500, ready made island bundles and a built-in induction cooker. Choose a counter top, built-in or post mount grill for your space and outdoor cooking. The E251 plugs into a regular outdoor outlet on its own 20 amp circuit. The EL500 needs its own 240 volt circuit and an electrician before you cook. Built-in models slide into an outdoor kitchen island cutout.

Where Fire Magic electric grills fit

These grills heat with electric elements, with no gas line and no flame. They suit a balcony, rooftop or condo patio where gas is not allowed. They are built in the USA from heavy stainless steel. Compare our outdoor electric grill collection, and keep electric equipment out of open rain.

The E251: the grill that plugs in

The E251 offers about 250 square inches of cooking space. Choose a counter top model, a built-in electric grill for an island cutout or a patio post-mount electric grill with folding shelves. Its digital thermostat holds the temperature you set. Ready made island bundles pair it with a triple drawer or a refrigerator with a double drawer. Plan for one outdoor outlet for the grill, and a second one if you choose the bundle with the refrigerator.

The EL500: a 30 inch electric grill

The EL500 comes built-in or on a post and needs an electrician for its own 240 volt circuit. The touch screen models are the digital versions, and they offer single control for one heat zone or dual control for two, with window options. A Magic View Window in the hood lets you check the food without lifting the lid.

The analog models have a temperature knob and a one hour timer knob instead of a touch screen, and they reach 650 degrees. Accessible models set the grates 32 inches high, and post versions also appear among our pedestal and post-mount grills. The built-in induction cooker needs magnetic cookware and a regular outdoor outlet on its own 20 amp circuit.

The gas and charcoal lines

If gas is an option, explore Fire Magic Aurora. Compare the top line, Fire Magic Echelon, too. Our charcoal grills offer another way to cook without a gas line, but they are not flameless.

Your electric grilling questions

How do I use a Fire Magic electric grill?

Plug the E251 into its outdoor outlet, or have the EL500 circuit run by an electrician, then set the heat on the thermostat or the touch screen. Preheat with the lid down, then cook on the grates as on a gas grill. Keep it out of open rain.

Does a Fire Magic electric grill need a special outlet?

The E251 plugs into a regular outdoor outlet on its own 20 amp circuit. Check that you have that dedicated circuit available. The 30 inch EL500 needs its own 240 volt circuit, so plan on an electrician before it arrives.

How hot does a Fire Magic electric grill get?

The E251 reaches 800 degrees. Touch screen EL500 models reach 700 degrees, with dual control letting one side sear while the other holds warm. Knob-controlled EL500 models reach 650 degrees. Match the controls and heat range to how you cook when choosing a Fire Magic electric grill.
