The four Videl Signature Collection kits

The knock down island frames, which the maker calls knock down islands, are one inch steel and come flat. They are easy to assemble and latch together in minutes, according to the maker. You add cement board, tile, stone or stucco, and a counter top of granite, concrete, tile or butcher block.

Collection 1 includes the Gran Fuego 36 grill, the maker's flagship grill used in every kit, double doors and two frames for a 72 inch island. Collection 2 adds a double side burner and three door unit, also with two frames at 72 inches. Collection 3 combines the grill, Gran Plancha griddle with two burners for separate cooking zones, double doors and a door and drawer combo on three frames at 108 inches. Collection 4 has the grill, griddle, double side burner, double doors, door and drawer combo and three door unit on four frames at 132 inches.

Choose a kit with or without frames

Choose a Full Kit if you need the island structure along with appliances and doors. Equipment Only leaves out the frames for an existing island or your own masonry build. Both have the same gas cooking pieces.

Frames on their own and the grill cart

You can buy a 48 inch grill frame, 36 inch griddle frame, 24 inch side burner frame or 24 inch counter frame. Choose flat, backsplash or raised bar counter forms that line up for a continuous counter. For a freestanding setup, consider the 36 inch grill cart.

A kit or a complete island?

What is the difference between a Full Kit and Equipment Only?

A Full Kit includes the appliances, storage doors and frames that form the island. Equipment Only includes the same appliances and doors without frames. Choose it for an existing island, a masonry build or frames you buy on their own.

Do I need a contractor to put a Signature Collection kit together?

The maker says the flat steel frames latch together in minutes without masonry. A handy owner or tile setter can add cement board, tile, stone or stucco, then a granite, concrete, tile or butcher block counter top. Have someone qualified connect the gas line.

Can I buy just a frame?

Yes, choose a 48 inch grill frame, 36 inch griddle frame, 24 inch side burner frame or 24 inch counter frame without an opening. Each comes flat, with a backsplash or with a raised bar counter. The frames line up for a continuous counter in the Videl Signature Collection.
