Fire Magic doors and drawers fill this collection, alongside warming drawers, trash containers and bar pieces for your outdoor kitchen island. This is the Fire Magic storage page, with four styles made in the USA from heavy stainless steel. Plan your outdoor kitchen storage around the bay you need to fill and the face you want beside your grill.

Four styles for your island

Legacy uses an angled, face-mounted frame and slam latch. Select covers the cut edge with a face-mounted frame, round handle, magnetic latch and rain guard. The Flush line, which dealers and the maker's own store also call Premium, has flush mounted doors and drawers with foam-filled fronts closing softly inside the frame, magnetic latches and a rain guard. Echelon Black adds black powder coat to Flush construction, matching Fire Magic Echelon black glass. The listings give Legacy one-year coverage, Select two years, and Flush and Echelon Black three years.

Doors and drawers for each bay

Choose a vertical access door for an end bay or a horizontal door for a wide gap. Double doors come in 15 by 30 inches below a 30 inch grill, 16 by 39 below a 36 or 48 inch grill, or 21 by 30 for full-height storage. Key-lock options suit shared patios. Choose double or triple drawer stacks beside the grill, a low single drawer under the counter, a wide utility drawer below the grill, or a griddle drawer for a flat griddle plate.

Combos, pantries, trash and propane

A door and drawer combo combines both in one frame, with a platter slot on some versions. Medium and large pantries add a gasket for drier storage. A double trash cabinet separates trash and recycling, while built-in accessories include the foot lever container and cut and clean board. Use louvered doors for propane cylinders, never plain doors.

Warming drawers and the rest of the island

A Fire Magic warming drawer keeps plates and sides warm using an outdoor outlet on its own circuit. The Select and Flush electric warming drawers accept the buffet insert, its own listing. Plan the rest of the island's components around Aurora grills or Choice grills, or explore ready-made islands for your outdoor living space. The built-in and drop-in refreshment centers, bar caddy and beverage butler also sit with refrigeration and bar pieces. Allow drains for the ice bins and water and drain lines for the beverage butler.

Your questions answered

What is the difference between the Flush, Select and Legacy lines?

Legacy uses an angled, face-mounted frame and slam latch. Select adds a round handle, magnetic latch and rain guard. Flush has foam-filled, soft-close fronts that close level with the island. Echelon Black adds black powder coat. The listings give Legacy one year, Select two, and Flush and Echelon Black three years.

Which door do I need for a propane tank?

Use a tank door with louvers, the slots the maker requires around propane cylinders. Its pull-out tray latches over the cylinder collar to prevent tipping. Place it as close as possible to the grill’s gas inlet. Legacy, Select and Flush offer doors with louvers, unlike plain doors. Without a cylinder, the bay holds trash.

Do Fire Magic doors and drawers keep rain out of the island?

Select and Flush frames have rain guards that keep water out of cabinets. Flush adds foam-filled fronts and magnetic closure, while pantries add a gasket for drier goods. Legacy uses a slam latch without a rain guard, so choose a covered island or trash bay. For an island that sits in the open, the Select and Flush lines are the Fire Magic doors and drawers to choose.
