Natural gas or propane: which should I pick?

Pick your fuel on the product page, with the same heat either way. Natural gas uses a house line with nothing to refill, while propane suits a patio without that line and with a tank nearby. A licensed gas fitter connects either version.

Can a Tungsten gas heater go under a covered patio?

Yes, under a roof with open sides, never in an enclosed room, because it needs fresh air. Allow about 3 feet above, or 14 inches with the maker's heat deflector, and at least 8 feet from the floor to the heater's bottom. Check the manual for your model.

Does a gas heater need power as well as gas?
