Napoleon Astound: Built-In, FlexMount or SlimMount?
For a built-in linear electric fireplace, choose Astound Built-In, a built-in electric fireplace in four widths: 50, 62, 74 or 96 inches. It sits recessed inside a framed wall and shows the fire from the front.
Astound FlexMount comes in 50, 62 or 74 inches. It hangs on the wall or sits partly or fully inside the wall, with glass sides showing. SlimMount spans 42 to 74 inches and is 4 inches deep. It hangs or sits flush inside a 2 by 4 wall. Trim kit and side panels are included. Between the three kinds you have three installation options: recessed, hanging on the wall, or partly inside it. Flames, lights and controls
The spark effect adds sparks over the logs. The ember bed and top light change color, so you can set the mood. Built-In tinted glass cuts reflections, and the glass flips down for easy access. Beach Fire logs and a Woodland kit come in the box with Built-In and FlexMount units. SlimMount comes with topaz glass and a charcoal ember bed.
Use the included remote, your phone with the Napoleon Home app, or voice control through Google Home or Alexa. ECO mode runs the heater at half power. BOOST mode raises the heat output and blower speed all the way up.
