Narvi 30/50: a wood burning sauna stove for big rooms up to 2,472 cubic feet
The Narvi 30/50 is a floor standing wood burning sauna stove for large saunas. It comes in two sizes. The Narvi 30 puts out 24 kW and heats rooms from 706 to 1,236 cubic feet. The Narvi 50 puts out 50 kW and heats rooms from 1,589 to 2,472 cubic feet, enough for a club or commercial sauna. The body is heavy steel painted black, with a wooden handle on the door. A glass door lets you watch the fire. Narvi designs and builds it in Finland.
Pick the size on the page. Wood burning means no wiring: you build a fire in the firebox and the stones on top hold the heat. Ladle water on the stones for steam. It burns logs up to 13 inches long. It comes with the stove and the manual. Sauna stones are sold separately, so add the boxes your size needs on the page. The bigger stove holds a lot more stone, so it needs more boxes. A chimney is not included, so pick the flue parts and the adapter to 6 inch US pipe on the page. The flue can leave from the top or the back. Which model do I need for a large sauna?
The Kilowatt selector offers the Narvi 30 at 24 kW for 706 to 1,236 cubic feet and the Narvi 50 at 50 kW for 1,589 to 2,472 cubic feet. The description pitches both at larger saunas where bigger groups relax; the 50 is the choice for commercial-scale rooms, the 30 for a big family sauna.
How big and heavy are they?
The Narvi 30 measures 21.06 by 26.4 by 37.4 inches and weighs 331 pounds; the Narvi 50 is 26.4 by 33.5 by 43.3 inches at 606 pounds. Add 143 or 220 pounds of stones respectively, which ship separately. Plan the floor and delivery path accordingly; with its stones in place the 50 comes to 826 pounds.
What clearances apply?
Both need an 87 inch ceiling. The 30 needs 59.9 inches front to back and 48.7 side to side; the 50 needs 92.6 and 65.8 inches. The manual says the clearance can be cut in half with a protective shield mounted with at least a 50 mm air gap, and the Safety selector offers Narvi’s protective wall and installation base.
Which stones does Narvi recommend?
The manual recommends olive dolerite stones of 10 to 15 cm, which is the 4 to 6 inch size on the page, washed before use, with flat stones upright and nothing stacked above the top surface. Choose the box count on the Required Stones selector for your kilowatt pick: 143 pounds for the 30, 220 pounds for the 50.
How much wood does it burn?
The manual tables an ignition load of about 8 kg for the Narvi 30, additions of about 5 kg and a 10 kg per hour maximum that must not be exceeded, using logs around 33 cm long and 0.5 kg each. That matches the 13 inch maximum log length on the Specifications tab. Empty the ash drawer and have the chimney swept yearly.
Is it listed for the USA, and what about the flue size?

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit.
