Choose your HUUM Cliff sauna heater here in 6, 9 or 10.5 kW, as a bare heater or a package with the control and stones. This slim floor standing column has front ribs that lift off so you can stack the stones neatly. You choose the size to suit your room. Each size has the same footprint, so a larger room does not mean a wider column.

The HUUM Cliff electric sauna heater

Made in Estonia, this stainless steel column measures 10.6 inches square and 38 inches tall, with small safety distances that suit rooms with little floor space. Lift-off front ribs give you access to its 165 pounds of stones, which sit directly on the heating elements for soft heat and lasting steam. Its internal air duct heats the room up to 25 percent faster. Explore the HUUM range for the maker's other designs. Three sizes for your room

The Cliff 6 is 6 kW for 176 to 353 cubic feet. The Cliff 9 is 9 kW for 317 to 529 cubic feet, while the Cliff 10.5 is 10.5 kW for 353 to 600 cubic feet. Heater weights range from 35 to 37.5 pounds, and all three sizes have the same stone capacity. This Cliff heater suits sauna rooms from 176 to 600 cubic feet. For a very small room, consider the wall mounted Cliff Mini, rated 3.5 kW for 123 to 212 cubic feet. For a plain column, the Steel range measures 12.6 inches square and holds 331 pounds of stones.

The control, stones and add-ons

You need a HUUM UKU control, mounted outside the hot room, with standard, Wi-Fi, Mirror or Gold versions to choose from. The Wi-Fi version lets you start the sauna through the HUUM mobile app. Add the control and five boxes of sauna stones on the bare heater page, or choose a package with the control, sensors, cables and 165 pounds of rounded olivine stones. A safety railing, reflector panel and embedding flange are optional add-ons.

Your questions answered

Which HUUM Cliff size do I need?

Measure your room in cubic feet. The Cliff 6 covers 176 to 353, the Cliff 9 covers 317 to 529, and the Cliff 10.5 covers 353 to 600 cubic feet. For 123 to 212 cubic feet, consider the wall mounted Cliff Mini, or call us with your measurements.

HUUM Cliff or HUUM Steel: which column?

Both stainless steel columns stand 38 inches tall. The Cliff is 10.6 inches square, with lift-off ribs and 165 pounds of stones, while the plain Steel is 12.6 inches square and holds 331 pounds. Choose the Cliff for less floor space or the Steel for twice the stone.

How close to the wall can a HUUM Cliff sit?

The listings say it needs only a few inches of wall clearance. Check the manual in the box for the exact distances for your room. An optional reflector panel lets it sit closer to a wood wall, and a safety rail and embedding flange are also available.

How do I stack the stones and add water on a HUUM Cliff?

Lift the front ribs off with the two prop blocks. Take your time stacking the 165 pounds of stones so none presses on a heating element. Users report ladling water a little at a time rather than a lot at once. The manual in the box shows the layout.

Does the HUUM Cliff come with a control and stones?

The bare heater comes with two prop blocks and the manual. Add a HUUM UKU control and five boxes of stones on the page. For your Cliff, the package includes the heater, control with sensors and cables, and 165 pounds of rounded olivine stones.
