What is radiant heat?
Radiant heat works like the sun. Instead of heating the air around you, it heats people and objects. This makes radiant heat a more effective outdoor heating source, as it is less likely to be affected by the wind.
Are the heaters waterproof?
Our Platinum Electric Marine outdoor heaters are made from premium 314 stainless steel and IPX5 rated, and therefore water-resistant (low-pressure water jets). However, Bromic does recommend that they are best mounted under cover and not directly exposed to rain and salt mist to ensure they maintain their aesthetic appeal.
What built-in mounting options are available?
The outdoor heating appliances can be either wall mounted, pole mounted or recessed into the ceiling. Each heating appliance is supplied with an 8″ stainless steel pole. Built-in recessing kits and longer poles for high ceilings can be ordered separately. Please refer to our instruction manual or contact our friendly design team to find out which installation and height is right for you.
Can Platinum Marine outdoor heaters be left on all night?
While the Bromic Platinum Marine outdoor heaters are designed for extended outdoor use, it is generally not recommended to leave any outdoor heating appliance on overnight for safety and energy efficiency. We recommend turning off the Platinum Marine heaters when not in use and following the installation manuals for safe operation and maintenance.

How much heat Platinum Marine appliances emit depends on a variety of factors, including the wattage in use, mounting height, climate, space layout, and more. - Open and inspect the order while the delivery driver is present. If delivery driver does not provide sufficient time to do so, please notate the delivery receipt.
- By signing the delivery receipt without noting any damage or missing items, you confirm that your order arrived complete and in excellent condition.
- Record any damage or missing pieces directly on the delivery receipt.
- Do not discard damaged item(s) or any original packaging. For severe damage, write “Refused due to damage” on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately.
- Report any damage within two business days, including delivery details and photos showing the issue
- Damaged item(s) must be returned within 30 days. Failure to return them will result in a charge to the original payment method.
