The Wildfire Ranch Pro griddle collection covers the 30 inch built-in and the 15 inch model that sits beside a grill. Choose the larger plate for pancakes, eggs and smash burgers, or the smaller one for onions while your gas grill handles the meat. The 30 can also sit on its matching cart if you want an outdoor cooking station on your patio rather than an outdoor kitchen island. Both light with a spark from the knob, without batteries.

The 30 inch Wildfire griddle

The 30, made by Wildfire Outdoor Living of Phoenix, Arizona, has a flat top that holds heat across its whole surface for a batch of smash burgers, with about 526 square inches of cooking space over two U shaped stainless steel burners. A red light tells you the plate is hot, it has illuminated LED knobs, and a stainless steel cover comes with it. Choose traditional or black stainless steel, or compare layouts on our Outdoor Griddles and Built-In Griddles pages.

The 15 inch model beside the grill

The Wildfire Ranch Pro 15 inch side griddle uses one U shaped stainless steel burner beneath its plate. It has illuminated LED knobs and comes with a stainless steel cover. It fits in the counter beside a 30, 36 or 42 inch model from the Ranch Pro gas grills page.

In the island or on the cart

Both models need a cutout when built in. For a wood framed island, find the matching insulated liner on the island components page. The 30 takes the griddle cart on the carts page, while the 15 is built-in only. Browse Freestanding Griddles to compare cart setups.

What fits your griddle

A fitted vinyl cover and gas timer are accessory add-ons on the accessories page. If you want a cooking plate on your grill instead, look there for 12 and 20 inch drop-in plates. Those sit on Ranch Pro cooking grates rather than needing their own counter cutout.

Your griddle questions

What is the difference between the 30 inch griddle and the 15 inch side griddle?

The 30 gives you about 526 square inches and two burners for breakfast or smash burgers, with a cart option. The 15 uses one burner for eggs, onions or sauce beside the grill and has no cart. Both include a stainless steel cover and light with a spark from the knob.

Are Wildfire griddles built-in or freestanding?

Both models are built-ins that drop into a cutout. The 30 can use the matching griddle cart, with locking wheels, fold down shelves and a propane tank tray. The 15 stays built-in only. A wood framed island needs the matching insulated liner.

How does the Wildfire griddle heat up, and is it easy to clean?

Two U shaped stainless steel burners run under the plate, so the plate is hottest right over them and a little cooler in the middle, and you learn those spots in a few cooks. The red light on the front tells you when the plate is up to heat. The plate is plain steel that seasons with use, and once it is seasoned a scrape and a splash of water while it is still warm clean it. The stainless steel cover in the box keeps the plate dry between cooks.

Where are Wildfire griddles made?

Wildfire Outdoor Living is a Phoenix, Arizona brand of RPG Brands, a family-owned Arizona company, and it designs and tests its griddles there. The griddles themselves are built overseas to the maker's own design. Every Wildfire griddle listing carries the full manufacturer warranty.
