What comes with Napoleon gas logs?

Each vented gas log set pairs a burner with five realistic Phazer ceramic fiber logs. Napoleon calls this the Fiberglow series, and it holds two Napoleon gas log sets. Check the size and your fireplace

The Fiberglow 18 needs an opening at least 22 inches wide, 18 inches tall and 14 inches deep. The Fiberglow 24 needs 28 inches wide, 20 inches tall and 14 inches deep.

Your fireplace must be noncombustible, such as masonry, with a working chimney. Clean the chimney first. The included damper stop keeps the damper partly open to vent exhaust. Keep glass doors fully open during use. A qualified technician must connect the gas line following local codes.

Light the fire and choose your options

The electronic ignition system runs on four AA batteries, so there is no house wiring. The pilot lights only when you turn the fire on with the flip of a switch. These do. Both Fiberglow sets burn in an open fireplace and send exhaust up the existing chimney. The chimney must work, and the damper stays locked partly open with the included damper stop. Vent free sets are a different kind.
