Grand Canyon see through gas logs come in six sets for a two sided fireplace. Each log set is painted on both sides and stacked to look finished from either room. You can choose weathered oak, darker char, pale driftwood, white aspen or shaggy juniper. Start with the wood style, then compare sizes and choose the burner and control on the product page.

Who needs Grand Canyon see through gas logs?

These see through vented gas logs suit fireplaces open to two rooms. Because both rooms see the fire, each log is individually cast and painted on both sides so real logs would not look more finished. For a fireplace open on one side, compare the front view log sets instead.

Choose your oak look

Arizona Weathered Oak has furrowed gray brown bark in sizes from 18 to 60 inches. Arizona Weathered Oak Charred adds blackened patches and comes in sizes from 18 to 42 inches. Arizona Weathered Oak Jumbo gives a wide fireplace oversized logs, with sizes from 24 to 120 inches.

Driftwood, aspen or juniper

Western Driftwood has silver gray wood, deep cracks and no bark. Quaking Aspen brings chalk white bark and dark knots, with slimmer branches crossed above a large log. Arizona Juniper has shaggy bark, orange tan split faces and crossed top branches. For a different look, contemporary options include Cannonball ceramic spheres that also work in a see through fireplace.

Sizes, burners and ignition

Check your firebox measurements before choosing a size. You add the burner and control on the product page, choosing natural gas or propane. Most sets take two or three burners. The Jumbo set takes its own see-through burner in steel or stainless. Every gas log set here sits over a bed of lava rock and glowing embers, and an on and off remote and a twig set are optional. Like other vented gas logs, these need a wood burning fireplace, working chimney and open damper, with most heat going up the chimney.

Your questions answered

Which ignition is best for a Grand Canyon see through set?

A hand-lit safety pilot is simplest, while a pilot with a remote gives on and off control. Electronic ignition lights itself and adjusts the flame, and propane needs a pilot or electronic system. Pick your ignition on the product page, and we confirm it by phone.

Natural gas or propane, what is the difference for these logs?

Natural gas uses your house line, while propane uses a tank and needs pilot or electronic ignition. Choose either on the product page, because the set is built for that fuel and is not converted later. Call us if you are unsure which gas line your fireplace has.

What are ceramic fiber fireplace logs?

These logs combine ceramic fiber and high temperature concrete with stainless steel mesh inside. Each is cast from real Arizona wood and painted by hand in Phoenix. The material withstands years of flame, with a lifetime indoor warranty on Grand Canyon see through gas logs.
