Grand Canyon Glow Series gas logs include the Arizona Weathered Oak Charred GlowFire set, Western Driftwood Bedrock GlowFire pieces, and linear drop in burners. You can choose a front view fire or a long, low driftwood arrangement. GlowFire puts flames in the logs rather than beneath them for a fuller wood fire look. Each log is cast from real Arizona wood and painted by hand in Phoenix.

How Grand Canyon Glow Series builds the flame

GlowFire log technology places the burner tubes inside the logs, so flames come from the ceramic logs rather than underneath them. Each log has fuel openings that bring the flame up through the stack. You get a fuller flame on less gas with far less soot. The result is a fuller, more robust flame with the look of real logs on a wood fire.

The charred oak GlowFire set

The Arizona Weathered Oak Charred GlowFire set is a complete front view set for indoor use in an approved wood burning fireplace. Choose 18, 24, 30 or 36 inches. The gas log set comes with its burner, lava rock, black embers and the flex line, and you choose on and off electronic ignition or a variable one that adjusts the flame height. For the same oak on a burner you light by hand, see our single sided sets.

Driftwood and Bedrock burners

The Western Driftwood Bedrock GlowFire logs come in 48, 60 or 72 inch lengths for an open face or trough style fireplace indoors or on a covered patio. The bed under them takes lava rock or half inch reflective fire glass. You add the matching Bedrock Traditional burner on the page. The linear range includes the vented Bedrock Contemporary burner with remote flame control and lights. The Bedrock II burner is ventless, so compare it with our ventless gas logs.

How they light and where they go

Charred oak uses electronic ignition with on and off or variable flame control. The linear burners need household power for ignition and lights. Choose natural gas or propane for the oak set, which cannot be converted later. Compare fireplace options across our vented gas logs.

Your questions answered

Which gas log gives off the most heat?

Within a vented fireplace, GlowFire brings more warmth into the room with a fuller flame close to the logs, using less gas. Most heat still goes up the open chimney. For a room without a working chimney, the Bedrock II ventless burner keeps heat inside.

Are Grand Canyon GlowFire logs vented or vent free?

Charred oak and GlowFire driftwood need a real fireplace with the damper open. The Bedrock Contemporary burner is vented too. The Bedrock II burner is listed for vented and ventless use, allowing a closed damper where local code permits.

Can I put a GlowFire set in a wood burning fireplace?

Yes, the charred oak set needs a wood burning fireplace approved for gas logs and a gas line. Linear pieces need a correctly sized open face or trough firebox and household power. Measure front, back and depth, then call us about Grand Canyon Glow Series.
