DuraVent DuraLiner Round Rigid Pipe: insulated straight sections for the main chimney run
The DuraVent DuraLiner Round Rigid Pipe is a straight insulated liner section that goes inside an old masonry chimney. Sections stack from above the fireplace damper, the flap that controls airflow, to the chimney top. DuraLiner is DuraVent’s factory insulated double wall pipe for relining a masonry chimney that vents a wood, pellet, coal, oil, or gas appliance. Insulation is sealed between a stainless steel inner wall and a coated steel outer wall. The pipe is listed to touch the masonry, even where the masonry touches the house’s wood framing. The rigid sections need neither wrapping nor spacers.
Choose a 6 or 8 inch diameter, then a length of 12, 24, 36, or 48 inches. The connecting ends are part of the pipe, with holes ready for the included stainless steel rivets. No separate joint fitting is needed. Subtract 1 1/2 inches for each overlapping joint when measuring the assembled length. A separate flexible section handles the bend at the damper. Have a narrow flue? See the DuraVent DuraLiner Oval Rigid Pipe.
