HUUM Cliff 9: a slim 9 kW floor heater for saunas from 317 to 529 cubic feet
The HUUM Cliff 9 is a floor standing electric sauna heater made in Estonia, rated at 9 kW for rooms from 317 to 529 cubic feet. The stainless steel column is only 10.6 inches square and 38 inches tall and weighs 35 pounds. It sits within a few inches of the wall, so it heats a medium sauna while taking up about as much floor space as a floor tile. An internal air duct brings the room up to temperature up to 25 percent faster. The front ribs come off for easier stone stacking, and it holds 165 pounds of stones directly against the heating elements for soft, lasting heat.
The box holds the heater, two prop blocks for removing the ribs, and the manual. It needs a HUUM UKU control to run, and you add that on the page. Choose the Wi-Fi version and you can start the sauna from your phone. Sauna stones are sold separately, so add the 5 boxes it needs on the page. What room size is the CLIFF 9 rated for?
Sauna rooms from 317 to 529 cubic feet, per the specification table. It sits between the 6kW and 10.5kW sizes in the CLIFF series; work out your room volume first and let that number pick the model for you.
How fast does it get the room hot?
The features tab lists heating up to 25 percent faster thanks to an internal air duct – a series signature. Combined with 165 pounds of stone mass, the goal is a quick climb to temperature followed by a long, mild, steady heat.
What stones do I need?
Five boxes of HUUM Stones 12 extra small (3-5 cm) stones, listed in the Required Stones add-on on this page, filling its 165-pound capacity. The removable ribs help you stack them precisely against the elements, which is what the direct-contact design wants.
Does a control come with it?
No – it pairs with UKU controls from the Sauna Heater Controls add-on on this page. Choose the UKU Local digital control or move up to Wi-Fi, Mirror, or Gold versions; Wi-Fi models bring HUUM app control from your smartphone.
How much wall clearance does the slim design need?
The description notes remarkably small safety distances, brought down to roughly 12 cm on the larger models in the series. Confirm the exact clearances for this model in the installation manual before you frame the sauna benches and walls around it.
What warranty is offered?
A limited 5-year warranty excluding heating elements, per the features tab. Note the amperage row in the spec table is blank on this page, so let a licensed electrician take circuit sizing from the installation manual rather than the listing.

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
