Modern Flames Studio Suites Floating Mantel for the Landscape Pro Multi: a wood cabinet that gives your fireplace a built in look
The Modern Flames Studio Suites Floating Mantel for the Landscape Pro Multi is a wood floating mantel cabinet for a wall mounted Landscape Pro Multi fireplace. A Studio Suite is the wood cabinet that wraps a wall mounted fireplace so it looks built in, with a mantel shelf on top. The finished cabinets range from about 5 to 8 feet wide. Finishes are Coastal Sand, Driftwood Grey, Weathered Walnut, and Ready to Finish. Ready to Finish means white primer, ready for your own paint.
In the box you get the top and bottom cabinet pieces, matching side pieces, a wall bracket sized to the fireplace, a power cord, and hardware. The fireplace is sold separately. The pieces slide on and hold by friction, so there are no screws or glue to hide. On the page you pick the size and the finish. Have an Orion Multi instead? FAQ
What is the Studio Suites floating mantel package, and which fireplaces does it fit?
It is the wood cabinet that finishes a wall-mounted Landscape Pro Multi: a top and bottom suite, matching side pieces, and the size-specific wall bracket that hides the part of the fireplace projecting from the wall. Choose the size that matches your fireplace on the selector, 44, 56, 68, or 80 inches. The fireplace itself is sold separately; the linear brochure describes the suites as American made.
What is included in the box?
Per the install guide linked above: the top and bottom LPM cabinet suite, matching side pieces, a size-specific wall mount bracket, cabinet mount brackets, a power cord, spacers for fireplace versions that need them, and a hardware kit with screws and hollow wall anchors. Color and finish vary by the option you select.
What does Ready to Finish mean?
Ready to Finish, RTF, is a white primer finish meant to be painted to match your room, per the install guide. The other selector choices are factory finishes: Coastal Sand, Driftwood Grey, and Weathered Walnut. There is no price difference between the four on the Color selector, so choose by look rather than cost.
How big is the assembled mantel?
Assembled dimensions from the install guide: 58.5 inches wide for the 44 inch fireplace, 70.5 for the 56, 82.5 for the 68, and 94.5 for the 80, each 28 inches high and 14.5 inches deep off the wall. The Models and Pricing tab lists the same widths by SKU so you can confirm the match before ordering.
How is it installed, and where does the power go?
The wall bracket must catch at least two studs, with the supplied hollow anchors only for extra support between studs. Run a hardwire line or place an outlet 2.25 inches from the right side of the bracket in a 4 by 4.5 inch space, connect the cord to the fireplace terminal block, hang the fireplace, then slide the top and bottom suites on; they are friction fit, so no screws or adhesive are needed.
Do I need this to wall mount a Landscape Pro Multi?
The Modern Flames linear brochure notes wall mount kits are sold separately from the fireplace, and this package supplies the size-specific wall mount bracket along with the finishing cabinet, so it is the vendor’s intended way to wall mount the Multi. You can also add it on the fireplace page under Floating Mantel Sets. See our Modern Flames wall kits for the Orion version.
