Which outdoor water features fit your yard?

Our pool water bowls sit on a raised wall or planter and pour through a front spillway. Round and square sizes span 24 to 48 inches. Half bowls mount flat against a wall.

Choose fire and water bowls for a central gas flame with water spilling below. Run either element separately or both together.

Our pool scuppers include wall spouts that shape a stream, sheet or curtain, plus pool-edge sculptures.

The outdoor water fountains bring their own basin, pump and lights. Choose a column with fire or a steel rain wall. A rain wall adds a cascade to your landscape. A self-contained outdoor fountain can be a courtyard centerpiece, bringing the soothing sound of falling water.

Our planter and water bowls hold plants in a central well while a front scupper pours into the pool.

On a pool wall or standing alone

Bowls and scuppers used as pool water features need a raised pool or spa wall to sit on or in, and a water line fed by the pool’s own circulation. A pool builder or plumber runs the line, and a valve sets the flow. Leave room between pieces when you set pairs or a row. The fountains stand alone on a level pad with power nearby. The fire versions also need a gas line from a licensed gas fitter.

Materials that live by a pool

Hammered copper develops a patina and matches our copper fire pits. Brushed stainless steel stays bright with an occasional wipe. Powder coat offers 15 colors on bowls, sculptures and fountains. Glass-fiber concrete gives a stone look in 18 colors or a wood-grain finish. Its front scupper is copper.

Fire and water together

Order flame-and-spill pieces for natural gas or propane. For separate flames, browse poolside fire-only bowls or the full Fire Bowls collection. Add gas fire pits beside the pool, or explore every fire pit type.

Planters that match the bowls

Our Outdoor Planters collection shares the same molds as the bowls here. Match shape, size, color and finish across the pool steps, or choose wide, low planter bowls for a planted counterpart.

FAQ

What is an outdoor water feature?

It is anything that pours, spills or sprays water in a yard for its look and sound. Here, that means a pool-wall bowl, a wall spout or a self-contained fountain. A pool pump or built-in pump circulates the water.

What types of outdoor water features are there?

Choices include water-only bowls, bowls with fire or planting wells, scuppers and self-contained fountains. Bowls and scuppers sit on or in a raised wall and run on the pool’s own water. Fountains stand anywhere with power, and fire versions also need gas.

Do I need a pool for an outdoor water feature?

You do not need a pool for a self-contained fountain with its own basin, pump and lights, just power and gas for fire versions. Bowls and scuppers normally use a pool or spa wall, but a builder can add a separate basin and pump.

How do I choose the right water feature for my space?

Start with placement: a bowl on a wall, a scupper in it, or a freestanding fountain. Choose the water shape, then check size and spacing for pairs. Decide on fire and material. Call us with a photo and we will talk it through.

What materials hold up best outdoors?

All four materials here suit year-round outdoor use. Stainless steel handles salt air and pool chemicals with an occasional wipe. Copper forms a protective patina. Powder coat resists sun and rain, while glass-fiber concrete keeps its color and does not rot.

Do outdoor water features need much maintenance?

Pool-fed pieces use your pool’s chemistry and filter. Wipe stainless occasionally, let copper weather, and keep leaves out of fire pans with an optional cover. Keep fountain basins clean and topped up. Drain and cover them where water freezes. Ask us about winter care.
