DuraVent DVL 90 Degree Elbow: turns the stovepipe toward a wall connection
The DuraVent DVL 90 Degree Elbow is an elbow that turns a stovepipe run from vertical to horizontal. It makes a full corner when your stove connects to the chimney through a wall. DVL is DuraVent’s double wall black stovepipe, the pipe that runs from a wood stove to the chimney inside the room. The elbow can go wherever the turn is needed in the run. You can adjust its angle to line up the connection before securing the screws. Choose a 6, 7, or 8 inch diameter to match your stove’s flue outlet, the opening where smoke leaves the stove.
DuraVent advises against this elbow for a stove with an outlet on the back. That connection calls for a tee with a clean out cap instead. When planning the run, remember that DVL pipe cannot be trimmed to length. Adjustable or telescoping sections fill the space between fixed lengths. The DVL line is listed for use in both the US and Canada. Connecting at the back of your stove? See the DuraVent DVL Tee with Clean Out Cap rear exit fitting. The DuraVent DVL 90 Degree Elbow ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.
