DuraVent PolyPro Appliance Adapter for PVC Coupler: joins rigid pipe to a coupler or appliance outlet
The DuraVent PolyPro Appliance Adapter for PVC Coupler is an adapter that joins rigid PolyPro pipe to an appliance outlet. It slides inside a PVC or CPVC coupler, a sleeve that connects pipes. It also fits inside other plastic or metal appliance outlets sized to accept the pipe. A male PVC outlet that sticks out needs a matching PVC coupling first to provide an opening for the adapter. DuraVent requires an adapter connector clamp for exhaust connections, and one comes included. Choose 2, 3, or 4 inch.
PolyPro is DuraVent’s polypropylene vent pipe for high efficiency condensing gas boilers, furnaces, and water heaters. The gray plastic is made only for these appliances. Their cool, wet exhaust produces acidic drips that cannot corrode it. Polypropylene also tolerates hotter exhaust than PVC or CPVC. In the USA, the appliance maker must list PolyPro for that appliance and sets its venting requirements. In Canada, DuraVent lists PolyPro as a vent system itself. Need the clamp separately? See the DuraVent PolyPro Universal PVC Adapter Connector clamp. The DuraVent PolyPro Appliance Adapter for PVC Coupler ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.
