DuraVent FasNSeal 23 Degree Bird Screen: a screened finish for a vent through the wall
The DuraVent FasNSeal 23 Degree Bird Screen is the screened end of a gas vent that exits through a wall. The end turns at 23 degrees. The screen helps keep rain, birds, and debris out. FasNSeal is DuraVent’s stainless steel vent for high efficiency gas boilers, furnaces, and water heaters, built to carry pressurized exhaust and its acidic condensate outside. Choose a size from 3 to 16 inch on this page. Each FasNSeal part has a gasket and locking band built into its wider end to seal and hold the connection.
The location outside matters. The vent must end at least 12 inches above the ground and snow line, and at least 7 feet above a public walkway or driveway. It must also stay at least 6 feet from any appliance’s air intake and 3 feet from a gas meter or other building opening. At doors and windows, allow at least 4 feet below or beside, or 1 foot above. These distances apply together, and the appliance maker may require more. Need the double wall version? See the DuraVent FasNSeal W2 23 Degree Bird Screen. The DuraVent FasNSeal 23 Degree Bird Screen ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.
