DuraVent DuraLiner 30 Degree Stove Connector: an angled connection between your insert and chimney liner
The DuraVent DuraLiner 30 Degree Stove Connector is a single wall fitting that joins a fireplace insert’s exhaust outlet to the liner inside the chimney. Its 30 degree angle suits an outlet that tilts or sits back from the chimney passage. It goes at the bottom of the liner, where the insert connects. Choose round to round, round to oval, or oval to oval to match your outlet and liner. Then choose a 6 or 8 inch size. The fitting attaches to the insert with screws and a bead of high temperature sealant.
DuraLiner is DuraVent’s factory insulated double wall pipe for relining a masonry chimney that vents a wood, pellet, coal, oil, or gas appliance. The rigid pipe above the connector has a stainless steel inner wall and a coated steel outer wall, with insulation enclosed between them. That construction allows the rigid pipe to touch the masonry, even where the chimney touches wood framing. This does not make the connector itself insulated. Is your outlet directly below the liner? See the DuraVent DuraLiner Flat Stove Connector for a straight connection.
