Le Griddle Pro Series 75 3mm: a family size gas griddle with a lighter plate
The Le Griddle Pro Series 75 3mm is a mid size gas flat top griddle for family meals. Its stainless steel body holds a cooking surface about 29 by 16 inches. The cooking plate is 304 stainless steel bonded over cast iron on an aluminum base, so the heat spreads evenly. It can be built into an outdoor kitchen island, set on a non combustible counter, or rolled around on the optional cart. A wood framed island needs the insulating liner, which you can add on the page. Le Griddle designs and builds its griddles in the USA, and the company is based in Spring, Texas.
Two burners provide 18,000 BTUs. Keep one side hot for searing and the other low to hold food. The lighter, lower priced 3mm plate is about an eighth of an inch thick. Backlit knobs and a light over the plate distinguish the Pro Series. It needs a standard household outlet. Pick natural gas or propane on the page. Add the gas hose or flex line separately; neither is included. Prefer a heavier plate? See the Le Griddle Pro Series 75 6mm gas griddle. The Le Griddle Pro Series 75 3mm ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.

FAQ
What is the difference between the 3mm and 6mm plate on the Pro Series 75?
Both use the same triple-plated build: 304 stainless cooking surface over cast iron on an aluminum base plate with the Texas Sea Glass matte finish. This 3mm version is the lower-priced option and carries the same lifetime residential plate warranty. The Warranty tab shows the practical difference: under apartment or commercial use the 3mm plate is covered one year, the thicker 6mm plate ten, because a heavier plate holds heat through constant loading.
How many burners and how much heat?
Two U-shaped 304 stainless steel burners at 9,000 BTU each, 18,000 BTU total, spread under a 29-3/8 by 16-1/4 inch plate. Each burner has its own knob, so you can run one side hot for searing and the other low to hold food. Every burner has a safety valve with a thermocouple that shuts the gas off if the flame goes out.
Does it come with a gas hose?
No. The Installation tab says the propane hose and regulator and the gas flex lines are sold separately. Pick your fuel in the Gas Type selector, then add a 36 or 48 inch stainless flex line for natural gas, or the propane hose and regulator, from the Installation Connectors selector before checkout. Conversion orifices for the other fuel are included.
What cut-out do I need and does the cabinet have to be non-combustible?
Cut the counter to 28-3/4 inches wide, 16-3/4 deep and 5-3/4 high. The cabinet must be non-combustible; for wood-framed or other combustible islands, add the Insulating Liner for the 75 Series from the Optional Addons selector. The vendor notes the liner and the trim kit do not fit together, so choose one. It can also sit on a non-combustible countertop or the portable cart.
What does the matte black front panel option do?
It replaces the stainless control panel behind the knobs with a matte black one, a Pro Series only finish that pairs with dark cabinetry. It is listed in the Optional Addons selector on this page with its price. The same selector carries the stainless lid, trim kit, portable cart and insulating liner for the 75 series.
Is the Pro Series 75 approved for indoor kitchens?
The listing rates it for indoor and commercial use as well as outdoor, with ETL certification to ANSI Z21.58b and CSA 1.6B. Indoor installation still needs the 110 V supply for the transformer plus clearances and ventilation per local code, so have a licensed installer confirm the plan.
