FAQ
Will this set fit an Adobelite Kiva fireplace?
That is exactly what it was designed for. Grand Canyon developed the Kiva collection to fit Adobelite Kiva fireplaces, pairing a compact burner with logs scaled to those smaller fireboxes. It is part of the brand’s single-sided gas logs family, and the specification tab lists the Kiva burner as the intended platform, so fit is settled by design rather than trial and error.
How much room does the burner actually take up?
Less than the size names suggest. The 18-inch, 24-inch, and 30-inch burners have actual overall widths of just 12, 18, and 21 inches, with an overall depth of 9 inches. Those trim dimensions are the point: kiva fireboxes run small, and this burner was sized to tuck inside them rather than crowd the opening.
Can I choose the log style that sits on this burner?
Yes, one burner, three looks. Grand Canyon offers the set with Arizona Weathered Oak, Arizona Juniper, or Quaking Aspen logs, each under its own SKU, and each style has its own log position guide so the finished fire looks right. The burner underneath stays the same, so you are choosing purely on the character of wood you want to see.
Is it a good match for a rounded beehive-style hearth?
It is the rare log set actually created for one. Beehive and kiva-style fireplaces, the rounded adobe hearths common across the Southwest, have proportions most gas log sets ignore. This collection was built around those fireboxes from the start, described by Grand Canyon as a very versatile burner system, and it brings a real wood-fire look to a fireplace style that usually gets overlooked.
Does a burner this small still put on a full show?
That is the collection’s calling card. Grand Canyon describes this burner as packing a punch for its small stature, and the design backs that up: even at its shallow depth it carries a complete, individually cast log set in your choice of species rather than a scaled-down prop. The compact footprint is there to fit the fireplace, not to shrink the fire.
Is the Kiva collection offered in both natural gas and propane?
Yes. The specification tab lists natural gas and liquid propane for this collection, so it works whether your kiva fireplace is plumbed to a natural gas line or supplied by propane. Whichever you have, specify the fuel when you order so the set arrives matched to your supply from day one.
Can you put gas logs in a kiva-style fireplace?
You can, and you do not have to improvise with a set meant for a rectangular firebox. Vented gas logs work in kiva fireplaces when the burner genuinely fits, and Grand Canyon builds this collection specifically for that job: compact burner, properly scaled logs, and listings for indoor or outdoor vented kiva installations. It turns a traditional hearth into a fire you can enjoy without hauling wood.
