What is the Empire Comfort Systems fire pit?

This linear gas fire pit comes in 48 or 60 inches and includes the burner and pan in stainless steel construction that stands up to rain and humidity. A stainless steel burner sits under crushed glass for an even flame along the whole length. You build around it in stone, stucco, or tile. The optional LED lighting system under the burner adds multicolor LED lighting that glows even when the fire is off. Compare our gas fire pits or browse fire pits across fuels.

Choose your fuel and add-ons

Order a natural gas fire pit or a propane fire pit to match your plans. Available add-ons include tall wind deflector glass, a weather cover and a tilt out door for access to a propane tank. A gas timer shuts the fire off after a set time. The ignition and flame control sit on the fire pit itself. If you prefer logs over the glass, ask us about a log set for this size.

The same fire in a wall, or a burner for your enclosure

Want the fire in a wall instead? The Carol Rose outdoor linear fireplace offers the same fire in that format, including a see through version. You can also explore outdoor gas fireplaces from other brands. If you already have an enclosure, look at our burner and pan kits.

You can order it for natural gas or propane. For natural gas, a plumber runs a line to your enclosure. With propane, the tank sits inside the enclosure behind the optional tilt out door, or beside the enclosure.

Does the Empire fire pit come with a remote or a timer?

The control is manual: you turn a valve to light and set the fire. Optional LED lights add a glow beneath the burner. A gas timer add-on shuts the fire off after a set time. No remote is listed, so call us if you want a remote.
