Who makes AMG grills?

The maker is a family owned company on Long Island, New York. These grills are built in the USA from heavy stainless steel. These are grills made in the USA, crafted and inspected at the maker's factory on Long Island. The maker covers the steel body, the burners and the grates for life and the electrical parts for three years. The maker shares its roots with its sister brand Summerset, whose grills have their own page here.

The gas lines, from simplest to fullest

The Atlas line is the simplest choice for a first outdoor kitchen. It is a 36 inch grill with three stainless steel burners, available built in or on a cart. A bed of briquettes over the burners spreads the heat across the cooking surface and turns drippings into smoke. A rotisserie kit, sear burner, griddle plate and smoker tray are options on the page.

The American Made Grills Estate comes in 30, 36 and 42 inches with cast brass burners. The rotisserie kit, infrared sear burner, griddle plate and smoker tray are in the box. Choose this line if you want those cooking tools included rather than choosing them individually.

The Estate Freedom line uses the same grill body in 30, 36 and 42 inches, with stainless steel burners. You add only the extras you want, including the rotisserie kit, sear burner, griddle and smoker tray. Cast brass burners are also an option on the page.

The Alturi line is the maker's top gas line, in 30, 36 and 42 inches. Springs help lift the hood, and lights angle across the cooking grates. An infrared back burner is ready for a rotisserie kit, which is an option on the page.

Compare these American made gas grills with other brands on our Gas Grills page. Our built-in grills fit an island cutout, while freestanding grills include cart models. The Estate, Alturi, Muscle and Encore also appear among our grills with infrared burners because they have an infrared back burner.

Hybrids that burn gas, charcoal or wood

An American Made Grills hybrid is a full gas grill that also burns real charcoal or wood. Stainless steel multi-fuel trays beneath the grates hold lump charcoal or wood chunks, so you can cook over gas, live fire or both. Hood vents control air to the fire. That gives you a choice of fuels for outdoor cooking. Compare both lines with other brands on our Hybrid Grills page.

The Muscle is the grill many people know as the American Muscle Grill, with a Mustang-styled hood. The Encore has a more traditional hood shape. Both come in 36 and 54 inches, built in or on a cart, with the same burners, trays and reversible grates. A rotisserie kit, sear burner and griddle plate come with either line. The infrared sear burner in the box is a drop-in burner that sits where a grate goes.

Side burners and power burners

The American Made Grills side burner collection includes double side burners and power burners styled to match the grills. A double side burner gives you two open burners for saucepans or a skillet. A power burner has two rings for larger pots, with an inner ring you can run alone for a simmer. Compare other brands on our Side Burners page.
