The American Made Grills Muscle 36 Hybrid Grill is a 36 inch built in hybrid grill. Built in means it slides into a cutout in an outdoor kitchen island, so it has no legs of its own. Hybrid means it is a full gas grill that also burns real charcoal or wood: stainless steel trays under the grates hold the coals or the wood chunks, so you can cook over gas, over a live fire, or both at once. Vents in the hood let you feed air to a charcoal or wood fire or choke it down, the way a charcoal grill does. The Muscle suits cooks who want those fuel choices with a bolder, Mustang inspired hood. American Made Grills builds it in the USA from 304 stainless steel, the grade that holds up best outdoors. Five stainless steel burners give 110,000 BTUs over about 1,070 square inches of cooking space.
The grates are thick V shaped stainless steel bars that flip over, and lifting tools come with the grill for moving them hot. The double walled hood holds heat like an oven, and lights inside the hood and over each knob let you cook after dark. An infrared back burner at the rear runs the included rotisserie, so a chicken or a roast turns and bastes itself. Also in the box: an infrared sear burner that drops in where a grate goes, a griddle plate, a starter kit of wood and charcoal, leather gloves, a care kit, and a vinyl cover for the grill head. How thick is the steel on this grill?
Heavier than most of the market: the burners are 14-gauge 304 stainless steel under 12-gauge burner covers, the patented fuel trays are 14-gauge, the reversible cooking grates are 9-gauge, and the spring-assisted hood is 16-gauge and double-lined. Lower gauge numbers mean thicker metal, which is why the Muscle 36 feels closer to commercial kitchen equipment than to a typical backyard grill.
What is in the Fuel Kit that ships with this grill?
The included Fuel Kit contains wood and charcoal, so you can try solid-fuel cooking the day the grill arrives instead of making a separate fuel run first. It arrives alongside the rest of the included bundle – rotisserie kit, stainless steel griddle, drop-in infrared sear burner, care kit, and a deluxe vinyl head cover – all listed on the product page as standard.
Why does a leather glove set come in the box?
Because hybrid grilling involves more hands-on fire management than gas alone. The included grate lifting tools are made for moving the hot 9-gauge cooking grates, and the leather glove set that ships with this grill suits exactly that kind of work. Like the care kit and the vinyl head cover, the gloves sit on the standard included items list rather than being sold as an extra.
Can you build a charcoal-capable grill into an outdoor kitchen island?
Yes – that is exactly what this built-in hybrid is for. It drops into a 35-inch wide, 25-inch deep, 15-inch high cutout like any gas head, yet it burns charcoal and wood as readily as gas. What do you do with the coals once you finish cooking?
Use the adjustable hood vents. They exist for heat control, and closing them down cuts the air reaching the coals so the fire fades on its own. Spent solid fuel stays contained in the 14-gauge fuel trays rather than scattering through the grill body, and the easy-clean drip pan with its drain system collects whatever is left for a quick cleanup later.
Does picking propane change the price of this grill?
No. Fuel type is a zero-cost choice on this page – select Natural Gas or Propane in the Fuel Type option before adding to cart and the price stays the same either way. A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
