Harvia Pro 36: a 31 kW wood stove for large saunas up to 1,271 cubic feet
The Harvia Pro 36 is the biggest stove in the Pro line, a steel wood burner with a graphite black finish, rated at 31 kW for saunas from 494 to 1,271 cubic feet. It is about 20 inches square and 32 inches tall on adjustable legs and weighs 154 pounds. It holds up to 132 pounds of stones to heat a big room through and keep the steam coming. It takes logs up to 15 inches long, and the flue can exit from the back or the top.
You get the stove, its door, an ash box, the legs, and the manual. Sauna stones are sold separately, so add the 3 boxes it needs on the page. A chimney is not included, so pick the chimney kit, any extensions, and the adapter to 6 inch US pipe on the page. A protective sheath, a floor plate, a pipe mounted water tank, and a bucket and ladle set are optional. Is your sauna under 900 cubic feet? The Harvia Pro 26 wood sauna stove is the smaller choice. What size sauna is the Pro 36 designed for?
The Pro 36 is built for large saunas up to 1271 cubic feet, the largest room rating among the Pro series wood-burning stoves we carry. Its generous stone load is what keeps the heat lasting longer in a big room. Confirm your sauna’s volume against the installation manual before ordering.
Are sauna stones included with the stove?
Stones ship through the Required Stones add-on on this page, which is set at three boxes of split-face stones for this model, so select them with your order and the stove arrives with its full stone load. The generous amount of stones is central to how this stove holds and releases heat.
Can this stove heat water?
Yes, it can be equipped with a pipe-model water heater. The Harvia WP220ST stainless steel water tank heater is listed under Recommended Addons on this page, so you can include it with your order rather than sourcing it separately. Installation is covered by the manuals for the stove and water heater.
Is a chimney included, and what venting parts do I need?
The box contains the stove with its installation and operation manual, so the chimney is separate. This page’s add-on selectors offer complete chimney and assembly kits for barrel or flat roofs in black or stainless steel, 500mm and 1000mm extensions, smoke pipes, and a 4.5 inch Euro to 6 inch USA pipe adapter. Choose the parts your installation needs and follow the manual and local codes.
What protects the floor and walls around the stove?
Two protective options are offered as add-ons on this page: the Harvia 36 Series protective sheath and Harvia protective bedding. Clearances to surrounding materials are governed by the installation and operation manual and your local codes, so review both when planning where the stove will sit in your sauna.
How does delivery work for a stove this heavy?
Because of its weight and packaging, the stove is delivered on a wooden pallet by special appointment. The driver provides curbside delivery only and will lower the items to ground level. A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
