SaunaLife E7G: a four person barrel sauna kit with a full glass front
The SaunaLife E7G is a four person outdoor barrel sauna kit with a full glass front. Bronze tinted glass panels sit on both sides of a matching glass door, keeping the room bright and the view open. It is built from thermo-spruce, which is spruce baked in a kiln so it shrugs off moisture and lasts up to twice as long as cedar. Steel bands hold the barrel tight, and a black shingle roof keeps the rain off. The barrel is about 71 inches long and 81 inches across, with room to stand up inside. A curved bench with a backrest runs along each side. A white LED light bar dims from your phone or a remote.
The kit includes the staves, the benches, the glass front and door, the steel bands, the shingle roof kit, the cradles it sits on, and the LED lights. Two people can build it in about a day. The heater is not included, so pick one of the 4 electric heater packages on the page, from 6 to 7.5 kW; each comes with its control and stones. What does the glass front actually look like?
The entire front wall is glass: a tempered bronze glass door flanked by fixed sidelight windows, all 5/16 inch thick. The bronze tint gives privacy and style from outside while flooding the interior with natural light, and the tempered panels maintain their shape and integrity in all weather conditions.
Is four people realistic in this barrel?
Yes, the 63-inch-long, 77-inch-diameter interior seats up to four on two facing benches with 17.8-inch-deep seats. The six-foot-five center height keeps standing room comfortable, and the arched Thermo-Aspen backrests are shaped for genuine lumbar support rather than a flat plank, which matters during longer sessions.
Which heaters can I add at checkout?
This page’s heater selector offers Harvia KIP 6kW packages with built-in or Wi-Fi digital controls, the Harvia Wall 6kW package with built-in controls, and a HUUM DROP 7.5kW kit with the UKU Wi-Fi controller and four boxes of stones. Can I add a window at the back too?
Yes. The Choose Your Style selector on this page lets you configure the rear of the barrel, keeping the solid back or adding a rear window opposite the glass front for light from both directions. Whatever you select is built into your order, and the selector shows any price difference for the style.
How hard is assembly?
It is engineered for do-it-yourself setup in one day with two people, no professional crew needed. Full-length 1.65-inch Thermo-Spruce staves, stainless steel bands, the full front glass, spruce cradles and fascia boards, air vents, a fastener kit, two spare staves, paraffin oil, and complete instructions are all in the delivered kit.
What keeps the weather out?
A black shingle roof kit with a drip edge sheds rain and snow off the curved top, heavy-duty stainless steel barrel bands, 1-7/8 inches wide, hold the staves weather-tight, and dual floor drains clear any water inside. The thermally treated spruce itself resists moisture and decay, so the structure is made for exposed outdoor sites.

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. She was always super responsive and helpful throughout the process. Don't kid yourself, getting a really nice sauna is not that easy. Sizing and heating need to be figured out, as does the building, but we have always had a helpful partner on our side. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
