SaunaLife EE6G: a four person wide barrel sauna kit with two rows of benches and a glass front
The SaunaLife EE6G is a four person outdoor barrel sauna kit with a wider barrel than usual. That gives you room for two rows of benches instead of one on each side. The front is bronze tinted glass with a matching glass door, framed in black. The black painted base adds to the modern look. It is built from thermo-spruce, which is spruce baked in a kiln so it shrugs off moisture and lasts up to twice as long as cedar. Steel bands hold the barrel tight, and a black shingle roof keeps the rain off. The barrel is about 63 inches long and 91 inches across.
The kit includes the staves, the benches, the glass front and door, the steel bands, the shingle roof kit, the black painted cradles and trim, the floor, and the LED lights. Inside are smooth aspen benches and backrests. The white LED light bar dims from your phone or a remote. Two people can build it in about a day. The heater is not included, so pick one of the 4 electric heater packages on the page, from 6 to 7.5 kW; each comes with its control and stones. How is this barrel shaped differently from the others?
It is a tall-format barrel: 87 inches of interior diameter for generous standing height, but only 55 inches of interior length, so the footprint stays small, 63 inches long by 91 inches in diameter outside. That geometry suits bathers who want headroom and a glass front without dedicating a long run of yard space.
How does seating work for four people?
A dual-tiered bench in smooth, knot-free Thermo-Aspen spans the barrel with a 20.5-inch bench depth, seating up to four bathers. The tall 87-inch interior diameter means the upper tier still has plenty of clearance, and the curved, arched backrest supplies real lumbar support during longer sessions.
What heater do I choose for it?
This sauna runs on an electric heater, and the on-page selector offers Harvia KIP 6kW packages with built-in or Wi-Fi digital controls, the Harvia Wall 6kW package, and a HUUM DROP 7.5kW kit with the UKU Wi-Fi controller and four boxes of stones. What is the front made of?
A Thermo-Spruce wood accent frames the front while 8mm-thick tempered glass covers the rest, including the tempered bronze glass door, so the whole face of the barrel glows with natural light. The front frame plywood, cradles, and fascia boards arrive painted black for a finished, contemporary look.
Can two people really assemble it in a day?
Yes, one-day installation with two people is the engineered target. The kit includes full-length 1.65-inch staves, stainless steel bands, the front glass and door, a floor kit, air intake and exhaust vents, a fastener kit, two extra staves, paraffin oil, and step-by-step instructions, with the full manual linked on this page.
How does it handle water inside and out?
Two floor drains let water move out of the sauna effectively, and intake and exhaust vents dry the interior between sessions. Overhead, the black roof shingle kit insulates and sheds rain, while the stainless steel barrel bands keep the staves cinched weather-tight through seasonal changes in humidity and temperature.
Is the LED lighting adjustable?
Yes, the included white LED light bar is controlled through a Wi-Fi app, letting you set how bright the interior glows, with a wireless handheld remote as backup. The system runs on low-voltage 24-volt DC power with IP67-rated, heat- and water-certified connections, and it can expand to additional white light sources later.

We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
