The Outdoor Plus Tuscon planter is a Corten steel planter whose curved sides sweep down to a narrow base, so it reads as a raised vessel rather than a box. Choose a 24 or 30 inch square, a 26 or 30 by 34 inch tall version, or a 48 by 24 inch rectangle up to 24 inches high. What is Corten Steel
COR-TEN® Steel is a high strength steel with a high weathering resistance. COR-TEN® has been a trademarked name used to generalize Weathered Steel. This steel alloy has been used in architecture and sculptural works, it eliminates the need to paint and provides a beautifully unique and aesthetically pleasing look while also providing great rust protection. COR-TEN® has a weather resistance greater than 4~8 times that of ordinary steel. Each of our COR-TEN® Steel Products at The Outdoor Plus are aged to look around 1 month of patina. The texture of the COR-TEN® Steel may be irregular, this is what gives our products and even more unique finish.
COR-TEN® Steel will continue to patina over time into a darker mocha looking metal instead of the bright yellow-orange that it originally started with. What formats does the Tuscon planter come in?
Corten steel squares and a long rectangle: OPT-PTSS24 at 24 by 24 inches (14 inches tall, 3.5 cubic feet of soil), OPT-PTSS30 at 30 inches, and OPT-PTSR4824 at 48 by 24 inches standing 24 inches tall with 14.5 cubic feet of capacity.
Why would anyone want a rusty planter?
Because Corten rust is a finish, not a failure. The Tuscon’s tapered steel forms bloom into a velvety orange-brown patina that designers pay a premium for — warm, matte, and alive in changing light — and that same oxide layer protects the steel underneath indefinitely.
Will it mark the surface it sits on?
Possibly at first — while the patina is developing, rain can wash rust tones onto light concrete or stone. Give the Tuscon a gravel pad, a planting bed, or a pre-weathering period before it lands in its forever spot, and staining stops being an issue.
What do I get with the Corten Tuscon planter?
The Corten steel planter itself, ready to place — no assembly or hookups, since the Tuscon is purely a planter with no fire or water function. Soil and plants are not included, and the big rectangle swallows over fourteen cubic feet, so order mix generously.
What should go in the tall rectangular Tuscon?
The 24-inch-tall, 48-inch-long rectangle is a privacy machine: ornamental grasses, clumping bamboo, or a tight evergreen hedge planted in a row. The squares suit sculptural single specimens. Corten’s rust tone flatters silvery, olive, and deep green foliage alike.
Can the Tuscon share a patio with a fire feature?
It is a natural — rusted Corten and firelight are one of the strongest pairings in outdoor design. Set the planters around a gas fire pit and the steel’s warm patina echoes the flame color even when nothing is lit.
How long does the rust patina take to develop?
It starts within weeks outdoors and deepens over the following months, with humidity and rain speeding things along. Expect the Tuscon to move from bare steel through bright orange toward its final stable brown over the first year — every stage looks intentional.

We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
