DuraVent DuraFlex Stainless Tee with Removable Snout: a removable branch for connecting a large liner
The DuraVent DuraFlex Stainless Tee with Removable Snout is a fitting that joins the liner to the pipe from your heater. It makes a right angle turn at the chimney wall opening or the heater’s rear vent outlet. The snout, or side branch, comes off so the tee body can be attached before the liner is lowered from above. The branch then passes through the wall opening and locks into place with an inside clamping band. DuraFlex Stainless is DuraVent’s flexible stainless steel liner for relining a masonry chimney that vents a wood, pellet, oil, or gas appliance.
Choose a 10 or 12 inch diameter for a custom length Pro liner. The 304 and 316 liners stop at 8 inches. These larger sizes use a separate top plate and a cap with its own rain collar, rather than a welded collar. Before lowering the liner, the chimney needs cleaning, inspection, and repairs to loose bricks or damaged mortar. Mortar seals the gap around the branch. Need the separately sold bottom closure? See the DuraVent DuraFlex Stainless Tee Cap cleanout cap. The DuraVent DuraFlex Stainless Tee with Removable Snout ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.
