DuraVent PolyPro Flex Chimney Lining Kit: chimney lining parts, with the liner sold separately
The DuraVent PolyPro Flex Chimney Lining Kit is a set of parts for lining an existing chimney. The flexible liner itself is sold separately. PolyPro is DuraVent’s polypropylene vent pipe for high efficiency condensing gas boilers, furnaces, and water heaters. The double wall flexible liner carries exhaust through a masonry chimney or chase, an enclosed passage. The chimney serves only as a sleeve and cannot vent another appliance. Flex does not connect directly to the appliance. Rigid PolyPro pipe reaches a male adapter at the chimney base, where flex begins. A female adapter changes back to rigid pipe at the top.
The kit includes a black sunlight resistant chimney cap, rigid exhaust section, liner support bracket, both adapters with gaskets, extended support elbow, wall plate, appliance adapter, locking clamp, and adapter connector clamp. Choose a 2, 3, 4, or 5 inch kit to match your flex liner. The 3 and 4 inch kits include four spacers. The 5 inch kit leaves out the appliance adapter. Need the liner too? See the DuraVent PolyPro Flex Length liner. The DuraVent PolyPro Flex Chimney Lining Kit ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.

FAQ
What is in the PolyPro Flex Chimney Lining Kit?
The parts to run a flexible PolyPro liner up an existing chimney: a black UV-resistant chimney cap, a rigid flue vent, a flex support bracket, four spacers in the 3 and 4 inch kits, male and female flex adapters with gaskets, an extended support elbow, a wall plate, an appliance adapter (not in the 5-inch kit), a Locking Clamp and an Adapter Connector clamp. The flex itself is sold separately.
Can a condensing appliance vent through an old chimney?
Yes, when the chimney is no longer venting any other appliance and is used only as a conduit; DuraVent permits PolyPro through an otherwise unused masonry chimney on that condition. The liner carries the exhaust, the chimney is just the chase. Have the chimney inspected and confirm the appliance manual allows a PolyPro flex reline.
Which size do I choose?
Match the appliance exhaust outlet: 2, 3, 4 or 5 inch on the selector. The 5-inch kit omits the appliance adapter, so add the connection the appliance manual specifies. The double-wall PolyPro flex is bought by the length needed, and the flex adapters in the kit convert rigid pipe to flex at the base and back to rigid at the top.
What are the temperature, pressure and clearance limits?
PolyPro is rated for exhaust up to 230 F and 15 inches water column, for Category II and IV condensing gas appliances listed to use it. Vertical PolyPro is listed at zero clearance to combustibles up to 230 F, and the flex support bracket and spacers hold the liner in the flue. Firestop every floor and ceiling penetration per the instructions.
How is the liner installed?
The support elbow and wall plate set the liner’s entry at the bottom, the flex runs up inside the chimney on its spacers, the support bracket carries it at the top and the rigid flue vent and cap finish above the crown. Joints seal on gaskets with locking clamps; horizontal pipe to the appliance slopes 3/8 inch per foot back. Flex lengths are in the PolyPro category.
