The Grand Canyon Gas Logs Arizona Weathered Oak see-through log set is the two-sided version of Grand Canyon’s best-selling log, made for a fireplace open on both sides. It comes in seven sizes from 18 to 60 inches. Nine or ten oak logs stack in three tiers, with long base logs, a middle row, and crossed branches on top. Heavy, furrowed gray-brown bark and broad, pale sawn ends give them a weathered look. Each log is cast from a real lightning-struck scrub oak found on the Vermilion Cliffs, using ceramic fiber and high-temperature concrete with stainless steel mesh inside. The logs are hand-painted in Phoenix and carry a lifetime warranty indoors and a five-year warranty outdoors.

On the page you choose the size, two or three burners, and the burner system, from a safety pilot you light by hand to a millivolt or battery electronic system that works from a remote. Is this set only for see-through fireplaces?
That is its purpose. Grand Canyon designs this version exclusively for see-through fireplace systems, where the fire is viewed from two rooms at once. The castings are hand-painted so the set holds up visually from either room, with no designated back. If your fireplace has a single opening, the standard front-view sets are the better match.
How is this different from the single-sided Arizona Weathered Oak set?
Same species, different engineering. Both are cast from the original lightning-struck scrub oak, but the see-through version, sold under AWOST SKUs, is built for 3-burner see-through installations rather than front-view fireplaces. Its size run also differs, covering 24, 30, 36, and 42 inch widths. Think of it as the same signature look, re-engineered for a firebox that is open on two sides.
Can you use regular gas logs in a see-through fireplace?
Not convincingly. A standard log set is sculpted and painted for one viewing direction, so from the opposite room the illusion falls apart. Purpose-made see-through gas logs like this Arizona Weathered Oak version are cast to look complete from both faces, which is why Grand Canyon treats them as a separate product line rather than a repositioned front-view set.
Is there a remote that can also put the fire on a timer?
Yes. Grand Canyon’s GCRK remote and timer control is part of the valve ecosystem this set runs on. Beyond simple on and off from across the room, the timer function lets the fire shut itself down after you head to bed. It is listed alongside the other valve options in the set’s control documentation, so ask for it when you order.
Does Grand Canyon list this set for outdoor see-through fireplaces too?
It does. The installation spec reads indoor or outdoor vented, so the same set can anchor a see-through fireplace inside the house or one built into an outdoor living space, as long as the installation is vented. The castings themselves do not change between the two settings; you are choosing a location, not a different product.
Is there an installation manual specific to see-through setups?
There is. Grand Canyon publishes a dedicated see-through installation and operation manual for its 2/3 burner systems, plus a stainless steel see-through version, and both sit in this product’s resources alongside the valve and control manuals. Handing your installer the see-through IOM up front avoids guesswork, because a double-sided installation is documented differently than a front-view one.
Does it work with both the 2-burner and 3-burner see-through systems?
The specification tab lists see-through configurations of both the 2-burner and 3-burner systems, and the set is engineered around the 3-burner see-through installation in particular. Natural gas and liquid propane versions are available in every width, so the burner configuration and fuel are decided by your fireplace and gas line rather than by the log set.

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
