The Grand Canyon Gas Logs Arizona Weathered Oak log set is the company’s best seller, cast from a real scrub oak struck by lightning on the Vermilion Cliffs near the Arizona-Utah border. The founder’s family carried that oak out of the canyon log by log. Nine or ten logs stack in three tiers, with long base logs, a middle row, and branches crossed on top. Heavy, furrowed gray-brown bark and broad, pale sawn ends give them a weathered look. The set comes in eight sizes from 18 to 60 inches for a front-view fireplace. Each log is made of ceramic fiber and high temperature concrete with stainless steel mesh inside, then painted by hand in Phoenix. The warranty lasts a lifetime indoors and five years outdoors.

Is the Arizona Weathered Oak modeled on a real tree?
Yes. The design was cast from a genuine scrub oak struck down by lightning in the Red Vermilion Cliffs along the Arizona-Utah border. Rediscovered in October 2011, decades after it fell, the logs were backpacked out of the canyon and used to create the molds, so every ridge and split in this set traces back to that one tree.
Does the warranty change between indoor and outdoor installations?
It does. Installed in an indoor fireplace, the logs carry a lifetime warranty from Grand Canyon Gas Logs. Installed outside, the same set carries a five-year warranty instead. The coverage follows the installation, not the product, so decide where the set will live before you register the GCGL warranty form.
How does the safety pilot valve option work on this set?
The safety pilot valve is the most straightforward control in Grand Canyon’s lineup: a standing pilot supervises the burner, and a valve knob brings the flame up or shuts it down. If you want more convenience later, the same burner ecosystem supports millivolt and electronic controls, so the log set itself never limits how you run it.
How long do logs cast from concrete actually last?
Far longer than the firewood they imitate. Each log is cast in high-temperature concrete, so the flames play across the surface without consuming the material underneath. That is why Grand Canyon can back indoor installations with a lifetime warranty, which is unusual confidence for vented gas logs that see regular use.
What widths does the Arizona Weathered Oak line come in?
The line covers 18, 21, 24, 30, 36, and 42 inch widths, so there is a set for everything from a compact firebox to a wide masonry opening. Whichever width you choose, the logs are listed for both 2-burner front-view systems and 3-burner systems covering front-view and see-through fireplaces, so the size you pick never locks you out of a burner platform.

Are Grand Canyon gas logs made in the USA?
Yes, completely. This set is manufactured by Grand Canyon Gas Logs in Phoenix, Arizona, and the company states it is 100 percent American-made. Each log is individually cast and then hand-painted before it ships, a level of craftsmanship that is increasingly hard to find in the hearth industry.

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

Norse Steam, and specifically Maya, were extremely helpful as I was making the decision for our Sauna. I was able to get all of the necessary details to make a decision as construction was happening in my backyard to make space for it.
We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
