The Grand Canyon Gas Logs Quaking Aspen log set is the pale one in the Grand Canyon line. One large aspen log spans the front, with five or six slimmer branches crossed above it over a line of glowing embers. The chalk-white bark has dark brown and black knot markings, peeling scars, and gray shading. It comes in seven sizes from 18 to 60 inches for a front-view fireplace. Cast from real aspen found in the northern Arizona forest, the logs are made with ceramic fiber and high temperature concrete, with stainless steel mesh inside. Each is painted by hand in Phoenix. The warranty is lifetime indoors and five years outdoors.

Why do they call it a quaking aspen?
The tree is named for the mesmerizing fluttering effect of its delicate leaves, which tremble in the slightest wind until the whole canopy appears to quake. Grand Canyon’s Log Hunters discovered a perfect set of Quaking Aspen timber in the backwoods of the Northern Arizona Forest, and that hand-selected stack is the one this collection is cast from.
What gives this set its pale alabaster color?
The species itself. Quaking Aspen wears a far lighter, chic alabaster character than the deep browns that dominate most gas fireplace logs, and each casting is hand painted to carry that coloring faithfully. If your hearth calls for brightness instead of another dark stack of oak, this is the set in the lineup that delivers it.
Does one style really scale from 18 to 60 inches?
It does, across an unusually long run: 18, 24, 30, 36, 42, 48, and 60 inch sets, seven sizes in all, from ASPEN18LOGS up to ASPEN60LOGS. The same aspen styling carries through every width, so a compact firebox and a five-foot opening can wear an identical look. Whatever the size, natural gas and liquid propane versions are both offered.
Do gas fireplace logs ever need to be replaced?
Not on any schedule. Firewood is a consumable that every evening burns away, but these logs are castings of ceramic fiber, high-temperature concrete, and stainless steel fiber mesh, built to sit in a gas flame season after season. There is no restocking or wear-out interval to budget for; once the set is in the fireplace, treat it as a permanent furnishing rather than fuel.
Can fire glass be added to the same order as the logs?
Yes. The page includes a Fire Glass add-on with seven half-inch glass colors – Cobalt Blue, Jasper, Starfire, Black, Bronze, Copper, and Amber – each sold in ten-pound bags. Select what you want before checkout and the glass ships alongside the log set, which spares you tracking down matching media after the fireplace is already put together.
What should I check about my gas supply before ordering?
Only whether the fireplace runs on natural gas or liquid propane; the set is manufactured for both. Gas Type is the first selection on this page, and the choices that follow are filtered to the fuel you pick, so the hardware that arrives matches your line. If you are not sure which service you have, your gas bill or supplier can confirm it in a minute.
Can I read up on the valve options before choosing one?
Yes. The resources tab publishes the manual for every control in the ecosystem: the safety pilot valve, millivolt, HC millivolt and modulating millivolt systems, the MVKEIK battery electronic ignition, the EIS system, and the GCRK remote and timer, plus a control valve features-and-breakdown document. Reading those before you configure the burner turns the valve decision from guesswork into a comparison.

A sauna turns your garden into a spa oasis. We debated it for a while, but after renovating our house, we pulled the trigger and bought a sauna from Norse Steam and Maya. Sizing and heating need to be figured out, as does the building, but we have always had a helpful partner on our side. We purchased the 3-person sauna for our outdoor garden. We chose the cube sauna for the aesthetic and could not be happier.
I assembled by myself except for the 2 large panels (requires a few people). Instructions were good - took me two partial Saturdays to complete and a few hours to unpack and organize in advance of assembly. Had my elec. add a NEMA enclosure on the back for the controller and power for lights and a 2nd panel for the wireless control.

We absolutely love the CL7G. It is extremely comfortable for 6 people (can fit more less comfortably). The Thermory Spruce and Aspen in the interior smells great. The lighting is lovely. We paired the CL7G with the Harvia Spirit 10.5kw.

Smoking Hot Tub!
I got the Norse Steam SaunaLife wood-fired hot tub, the S4N model, and its been seriously great. It heats up quicker than I expected, usually around an hour and a half, and once its hot, it stays that way for a good long while. The wood-fired system is simple to use, and honestly kind of fun.
The tub itself feels solid and well put together. The thermo-spruce exterior looks beautiful in person, and the fiberglass interior is smooth, deep, and easy to clean. Its the kind of setup that just works without a bunch of fuss, which I really appreciate.
Also, the team at Norse Steam was genuinely great to work with. Super helpful, quick to respond, and made the process really easy from start to finish. It felt like they actually cared that I was happy with it. The tub has totally become a go-to way to unwind, and I wouldnt change a thing.

Great Sauna & Purchase Experience
Great experience purchasing Finnmark FD-2 from Norse Steam. Good communication and easy to assemble. Temperature increases quickly (30 minutes or less to 140) and maintains well. So far this has been a great purchase.

Great sauna and great customer service
We purchased the Finnmark SD-1 sauna. Maya was extremely helpful with the purchase. We had an issue with the sauna not reaching the maximum temperature, and Maya connected us with the appropriate technician that explained how to correct the issue. The sauna now heats to the maximum temperature (170 degrees) in less than an hour, and it is a great unit. We are very happy with it, and we would definitely purchase from NorseSteam if we needed any other items.
