Resembling the natural terrain of the landmark along the sun baked banks of the Colorado River and backpacked out log-by-log, this particular expedition took our seasoned team of Log Hunters on a journey searching the river banks, mile by mile.
With scorching summers and cool wet winters serving as the inspiration behind such detail, this set features a washed-out, sun-bleached exterior against rich gray tones and bright white elements creating the backdrop for deep, crackling, splitting in-the-woods bark. This rich combination of colors perfectly accented by subterranean earth tones and texture give the Linear Western Driftwood log set detail that is second-to-none.
VENTED LOGS – All logs manufactured by Grand Canyon Gas Logs are individually cast and hand painted to perfection. All logs are built with a high temperature concrete, ceramic refractory, and stainless steel fiber mesh. Logs installed indoors carry a lifetime warranty and logs that are installed outside carry a 5-year warranty.

Can I get gas logs for a 10-foot linear fireplace?
Yes. The Linear Western Driftwood is offered in eight lengths – 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, 84, 96, and 120 inches – each under its own WD-LINEAR SKU, and the 120-inch set covers a full 10-foot installation. The design language holds across the entire run, so an oversized project keeps the same look as a modest one instead of switching styles at the top end.
Is this set rated for indoor fireplaces or outdoor installations?
Both, provided the installation is vented. The spec sheet lists indoor and outdoor vented use, so the same casting can serve a living room fireplace or an open-air feature. Venue does change the paperwork side: coverage runs lifetime for indoor installations and 5 years outdoors. What never changes is the venting requirement – this is a vented set in either setting.
How weathered are these logs meant to look?
Heavily – the inspiration was timber shaped by scorching summers and cool, wet winters. The casting picks up a washed-out exterior with deep, crackling, splitting bark and subterranean earth tones, and each piece is individually cast and hand painted so that detail survives at close range. The result reads as genuinely weathered wood, not a smoothed-over log shape.
Can these logs pair with a Glass Burner system?

- Record any damage or missing pieces directly on the delivery receipt.
- Do not discard damaged item(s) or any original packaging. For severe damage, write “Refused due to damage” on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately.
- Report any damage within two business days, including delivery details and photos showing the issue
- Damaged item(s) must be returned within 30 days. Failure to return them will result in a charge to the original payment method.
