DuraVent PolyPro Horizontal Termination Kit Concentric: brings two vent pipes through one wall opening
The DuraVent PolyPro Horizontal Termination Kit Concentric is a wall vent kit for separate exhaust and combustion air pipes. Its co-linear adapter joins those paths in a pipe inside a pipe through one wall opening. Two appliance adapters convert PVC outlets to PolyPro. PolyPro is DuraVent’s polypropylene vent pipe for high efficiency condensing gas boilers, furnaces, and water heaters. The white termination resists sunlight damage and includes a bird guard screen. You also get a white wall plate, a white firestop for the wall opening, two locking clamps, and two adapter connector clamps.
Choose a 2, 3, or 4 inch size. In the USA, the appliance maker must list PolyPro for the appliance, and its venting instructions govern use. In Canada, DuraVent lists PolyPro as a standalone vent system. The horizontal concentric run slopes back toward the appliance without dips that trap condensate, the liquid in the vent. The appliance maker specifies drainage back to the appliance or a drain. Already have adapters? See the DuraVent PolyPro Concentric Horizontal Termination Kit Without Adapters. The DuraVent PolyPro Horizontal Termination Kit Concentric ships free from My Cozy Outdoors with No Sales Tax (except WY) and the full manufacturer warranty.

FAQ
What is in the PolyPro Horizontal Termination Kit – Concentric?
A white UV-resistant concentric wall termination with bird-guard screen, two appliance adapters, a white wall plate, a white firestop and a co-linear adapter, plus two Locking Clamps and two Adapter Connector clamps. The adapters transition from a PVC-style appliance outlet to twin-pipe PolyPro. Sizes 2, 3 and 4 inch are on the selector.
What size hole and plates does it use?
The inner plate is 8-5/8 inches square and the outer plate 9-7/16 inches square for all flue sizes, so the wall opening is the same regardless of the 2, 3 or 4 inch pipe. The white firestop closes the wall penetration on the inside and the wall plate finishes the outside around the concentric termination.
Which appliances can vent through it?
Category II and IV condensing gas appliances, such as high-efficiency water heaters, condensing boilers and warm-air furnaces, that are listed to use PolyPro. It is rated to 230 F exhaust and 15 inches water column. The appliance manual gives the maximum vent length and the termination distances from windows, doors, air inlets and grade under NFPA 54.
How should the horizontal run be sloped?
At least 3/8 inch per foot (1.8 degrees) back toward the appliance so condensate drains to the appliance’s drain and cannot pool in the vent. Concentric components are listed at zero clearance to combustibles up to 230 F; single-wall PolyPro feeding them needs 1/4 inch on horizontal runs above 194 F.
How are the joints secured?
Push the pipe over the gasket, lubricated with soapy water only, and fit a locking clamp on every exhaust joint; no sealant. Pipe can be cut square to length and clamped. DuraVent advises considering wind, eddies and nearby obstructions when placing a horizontal termination to avoid recirculation. Pipe and elbows are in the PolyPro category.
